Market Force Problems/Deactivated???

Purple Portal is absolutely worthless. I got a call the other day from a woman who lets just say did not speak English as her first language, asking me to do a merchandising job that is pretty far from my house and would not understand that I wouldn't do it for less than 25.00 (I knew I could put it on a route I would make but it is a pain in the butt job). Finally she understood "Oh its 60 miles (AN HOUR) each way" and tried to talk me down but I said no. She gets an approval, goes through another 10 minutes of explaining to me what to do while I am saying "please email it to me, I'm trying to get out of my car to do an assignment" and then says OK, make sure you download your paperwork immediately and hangs up.

I get home, log on and "poof" no paperwork, no email, no assignment. I call - they have no idea what I am talking about. Thankfully I had not set up the route yet.

Another time, I self assigned, downloaded the paperwork, did the job, came home and went to input it to find out that they had pulled it and never let me know. I had to fight them tooth and nail to show them it had been assigned and I did it and them cancelling it and never letting me know via email, phone or message (those messages STAY in purple portal) and they paid me HALF.

I am DONE with them.

It happened to you too? Holy Moses! As I said, someone is trigger happy at Purple Portal.

In my case, the support told me that I had asked for it to be cancelled, just because I complained about their cancelling or changing shops a few days before the due date, week after week. But I asked them to cancel shops automatically assigned to me two weeks in advance which I foolishly accepted, but they did not cancel that and instead just cancelled the shops due a couple hours the same day which I was already doing that very day. And no email, messages or pigeon carrier re cancellation. What a mess! And funny thing was, I blamed myself for overestimating their abilities.
I began with Purple same time as with Blue, and have yet to either find or accept a job with them. Useless as far as I'm concerned. Too many other fish to fry.

Don't get me wrong. There were some very satisfactory and high paying shops and actually, more than the bad ones. My impression is when the higer ups get involve, the resolution is very professional. But shops that are assigned without any organization, beware! And then wait 'til some trigger happy and inexperienced associate handles it. Not worth anybody's time.

In my experience, communicating with them with a slew of valid arguments will get the message across. But it has to reach the higher ups to get resolved otherwise, you are barking at the wrong tree. I decided that my last case was not worth the aggravation I would spend in writing a letter so I let it go. Yes, there are other fish to fry, even in the same organization.
I am surprised that they drop people so easily. I am even more surprised that they are so trigger happy, yet they haven't deactivated me. I have cancelled shops with this company and have never gotten as much as an email. Nor did I want one. I just don't like them. Their respect for shoppers is almost nonexistent. If it wasn't for their burger shops (not the arches), I would have chucked them the deuces a long time ago.

If they are mostly dropping shoppers who have done a lot of assignments, could it be a tax or income thing on their end. Maybe after you make a certain amount of money over a certain period of time, they feel like you may have overstayed your welcome?
