CORI self assign cut-off

I've always been able to assign up to 15 to myself at one time. Now the self assign board isn't allowing me to go over 5 self assign shops at one time. When I click on checkout, it comes back "You have reached your self-assign limit." Does anyone know what this is about?

I don't know what the limit is, but it used to be 15. On November 6 I did eleven shops for them, so I know you could assign as many as eleven on November 6. Maybe they've changed the limit recently.

You did 11 shops for them in one day? How'd you manage getting the reports in on time? Isn't there only a 6 hour window?

Jimmy, this was a 174 mile route and included eleven shops in four towns. Ten shops were stations and one was fast food. Obviously, I couldn't meet a six hour window on any of them. My memory is that I reported eight shops before I went to bed and three shops early the next morning. I have two laptops, one set up on my desk that stays in place and another I can carry with me, but I don't report on the road. Time during the day is spent driving and on site. I do all the reporting after I get home.

I have been doing these shops in long routes, some up to 300 miles, for a while now. At one point I checked with a scheduler and told her I couldn't do these routes unless I had longer report times. I was told I could report after six hours as long as I got them in within 24 hours. If these shops aren't reported by about midnight, I get a late notice telling me the final deadline is noon the day following the shop. In one case, I ran past noon on a couple of shops and was able to successfully ask for a little more time.

If you want to do multiple shops and you can't meet the six hour deadline, it would be a good idea to call the company and discuss your problem. I'm pretty sure you'll get the same response I did.

CORI only allows me to assign 7 shops at a time. I'm wondering if it's something to do with your rating..
jpgilham, I don't think it is based on the shop grades, because I've never seen or heard of anything below a five. We had one poster on the forum who bragged his dog did his reports and the dog got fives, too. So funny! At the time I assigned myself the eleven shop route, I didn't have anything else booked with them. I found out about the limit of fifteen when I tried unsuccessfully to schedule a sixteenth shop last year.

That may be the self-assign limit, but in the past schedulers have been able to assign additional shops. One possibility that hasn't been mentioned, their screwy sitegrinning smiley

I called CORI when I first signed up with them explaining that I work a full-time job and plug in MS'ing assignments before work, during a break in my schedule, or after work. A 6-hour deadline is not realistic at all when someone works another job. I can't submit reports while I am being paid by my regular job. The scheduler told me that they will extend the 6-hour deadline in most cases.

I was told you can self assign 15 Red/Blue shops. I do that all the time. However, if I have even ONE Blue/Yellow in the mix, the self assign is limited to 5. Weird, I know. I am willing to bet you had a Blue/Yellow in there. Hmmm?

Janalou, I've shopped for CoRI for a while, and I'm feeling dumb right now. I checked the website right before posting to see if there was something obvious I've missed. If so, I missed it again. What do you mean by Red/Blue/Yellow? smiling smiley

Thank you.

Go ahead, ask me to violate an ICA. I won't do it, and the MSCs that read the board will know not to hire you, since you can't be trusted.
I was told by them that 5 is the limit for self assigning and that beyond that you have to contact a scheduler to have more added. I did 12 shops for them the other day. I can not get my reports in at the deadline either. I try to have them done before noon the following day though. They are really pretty leanent.
I don't think 5 is the limit for self assigning, because I self-assigned 8 jr clothing shops last week in 5 minutes. I won't touch the gas shops.
