CORI don't say I didn't warn you...

My IE 8 is not working properly. The last two reports I submitted to CORI was, Chrome and Firefox. If you can stand the error messages you get, while submitting, they do go through. At least both shops were approved.

This is the type of information that makes this forum so valuable - I've signed up with this MSC but yet to apply for a shop. If the crazy low assignment fees did not scare me off, this surely has.

I'd hate to even try to calculate the OP's hourly fee for the shop that she has spent so much time on now...if she even gets paid.
With Chrome you should be able to turn off the error messages after the first one pops up.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Since I just do it their way and use IE, it has been awhile. I think when the first message pops up there is an option to check a box and it says something along the lines of, "Prevent this page from showing error messages," or wording of that sort. Once that is checked you should be good to go.

It is easy, but you may be like me and just close those annoying things out without reading them, lol!

I tried doing a CORI report from my phone. I know the browser was incompatible, but I had time to kill so I figured I'd give it a shot. I got a popup message EACH TIME I selected an answer. Super irritating but I powered through. Finally got the whole thing done, 27 questions answered with 27 popups, and it wouldn't submit. Spent 15 minutes trying to submit the dang form.

Ended up having to go home and do it from a computer anyway. Bah. Archaic web systems are one of my biggest pet peeves ever.
Don't let the low fees scare you off. In my area they get increased relatively quickly. You just have to keep checking their job board. In addition, the ones that I have done are super easy and the reports are quick so they are well worth the money once they are increased. As far as the browser is concerned: as long as your IE is working you should be OK. I only use IE for CORI because I don't like getting all of the popup messages. I have completed 10 shops for them all this year) and so far have not had a problem. I also want to mention that I use IE7. I have not upgraded to IE8.

I am so sick of those error messages! My husband, who is into programming, says they are simple java script errors that CORI should have corrected a long time ago. I get the same errors in IE also, so just give up and use Firefox, my preferred browser.
I've never had a report rejected, and have only ever used Firefox to submit them. smiling smiley
