Another Intelli-shop rant...

Have they paid anything yet? On average Intellishop has taken 68 days to pay me with the longest time being 78 days.

Good evening fellow travellers.
Now there are editors and then there are editors so to say "don't worry about ratings" is a tad daring.
I would say worry if you consitenlty get low scores and dare to ask why. However, if you continue to get high scores like 8s and 9s then yes, I would offer that thre's no need to worry because there are those editors that simply will not give 10s even if you give blood.
I have decided to no longer work for this MSC. Originally, I would sing their praises, but too many issues with them having me reverse my thoughts. Recently, I find I am dq'd from a client because I was "made" as a shopper. Not true, 100%. I had to fight to get paid because an editor intermingled my report with another shopper and caused a huge problem. I feel the editor made a note on my account out of spite. Last couple weeks I have gone round and round and cannot get any answers. All I get is, "There is a note on your account." From who? Who placed it there? How did they know I was a shopper? I had only done this shop once.
Just got a score of 8 and the editor thanked me by name. The problem is that even close to my name. Then s/he comented that I didnt comment on something not mentioned in the instructions(read it before and twice after). No where doe it mention to compare pass shops. Closed on weekends so havent heard back, not that I care.
Different editors = different scores. It's all subjective.

In HS on my final exam I received a 99. My calculations were perfect. My teacher did not belive in 100 so she scoured my paper and found that I did not . after an abbreviated month. I have received 8 9 and 10 from this company - it's all subjective - no worries.
I just checked their May jobs and noticed the dealerships have been lowered from 20.00 to 18.00, same work, long pay period,
just not fair.....what is with them??????????

Live consciously....
They lowered them to $18 months ago. Don't take them and they will eventually add bonuses.

My average is a 10. Lately, I get more 9s. Editors change and so do priorities. Currently, they seem to think that my comments are never in the "right place". Whatever. This would have killed me 13 years ago when I started, but not any more.

I just did a shop and in the paperwork it says that they strive to be the fastest and most accurate paying MSC. This is my first week with them and after reading all of this, I am assuming they aren't striving very successfully?
Nope.

Accurate maybe, fast no way Jose.

I am still waiting for payment for a shop I did on 2/8/13. They won't return my phone calls or emails. I received all other payments for Feb. as scheduled. I just received an automated email stating their payment policy. Has anyone else had payment issues with them?
Ummm..."notmyname" did you know that decaf tastes just as good as regular coffee? You might want to try it.

I received my February and march payments on April 22. Although they sometimes take a long time I have always gotten paid. When you log onto their site what does it say in the shop fees column (paid on, payment pending, or just shop fee).
Phoebe70,
I think you might benefit with a different perspective on this "less-than-10 score". As professional shoppers, we know it is almost impossible to get a perfect score from most evaluators. The fact is: "There always seems to be room for improvement!"

When you realize some people almost never give a "10", a "9" is really as good as it gets in the real world. (Food for thought)

jpgilham said it best: Don't stress about ratings. So long as it's high enough to keep shopping. Be happy!

I believe that the schedulers do read here, but not the editors or management staff. I have spoken with the schedulers about slow and unusually "picky" reviews and have been told that scheduling and editing staff do not co-mingle for quality control purposes. AM is so on target because Intellishop is losing many talented shoppers due to unbalaced editing practices. That is my opinion.
Did you get this resolved yet? I would call them directly on a regular basis.
Their schedulers wash their hands once the shop is performed and they just don't care.

Oh and this one "xxx Shops With Substantial Bonus".... though substantial would sill make the entire shop far far under other car shops. Far under. Substantial even to talk about it would have to be at least double to even talk about it.
FYI, normal payment terms are 60, not 90. I was still shocked to see a payment from them in April for a new car shop completed in March. I had no idea it was on the 30 day list. Obviously if they can pay some in 30, they could pay all in 30.

The comment you received was a "canned" reply that the proofreader just checked off.
Hi Phoebe 70
Just thought send your way, mine was 8 out of 10. I will just copy and past it.
8/10 "Thank you for your report! It was completed accurately and with attention to detail. You displayed a thorough understanding of what was required. It was very well written with good quality supporting comments. Excellent job!"

You just have to love them_____________

They have paid once in 30 days, I believe because they had to finish those shops...so, if they can pay in 30 days,
why take over 60, sometimes 90, which is their norm. I recently did a 19.00 dealership (in my town) which was raised
from 18.00, however, I saved on gas money, and got a 9 on the report which went smoothly, bit I won't make it a habit.

Live consciously....
Since I started video shopping at auto dealerships at upwards of $100-$200 a pop, I can only shake my head at those $17 - $20 dealership fees. Never mind the hour plus on the car lot, then they want novel-length narrative. Fuggeddabouttit.

It's OK.....there won't be any more hostility and name calling from notmyname. He's gone and won't return.....at least, not unless he registers with a new screen name.......
