CoRI gas routes ?

Anyone here doing the "routes" for the other station ?

I can't find any discussions on this via search and don't want to name the client.

There was an offer of one - said to list your preferred zips - but then they wanted the entire list to be taken
no matter how far out or hard to get to (no bonuses on any of these so ... uh, no).

I do them, the long race ones. I was lucky in that all my stations are within 2 hours. I can get my small route of 58 done in 2 days. But then, sometimes they throw a random in there and it is 2 hours in opposite direction. I could tell them to take it off, but I don't.

My stepdad did them too, but where he lived they were 4 hours in all directions of him no rhyme or reason to them. He spent more in gas then in shop fees. He did it once then quit it.
SAM - Thanks, that is what I was wondering. These are never bonused though are they ? Just the base rate or is there some negotiation possible ?
They are bonused...a fixed bonus for successful completion of the route. The bonus is a set $ amount per shop and added in at the end of the route, usually takes about 2 weeks to get it when you're done. I thought the base rate was fair for where my route took me, so I did not negotiate...but I also was a newbie and excited to just be getting fixed, dependable route. The shops only take about 6-8 minutes each to do and the report only about 10 minutes each.

I have never heard of a CORI route...I make up my own by going to their job board and putting them in my cart. Is there something I have missed?

Janalou, I've been doing stations for Cori since the beginning of 2010 and I've never had an opportunity for a route either. I think maybe they have routes in some areas and don't have them in others.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
These GS are only offered thru email. They have put routes together....sometimes they make sense and sometimes they don't.

If they do have them in your area and a shopper already has the route it wouldn't come up again to be offered. It is when the nix the shopper or the shopper quits the route that they are then available again. Some routes are huge, and like mine not so huge. But the money is okay and dependable, and I do say OK on the money not great, not mind blowing riches...just average okay. smiling smiley

CoRI has several GS routes that are not on the job boards...you would never know it existed unless you got offered it.
I was just offered a route for the first time yesterday. It terms of how the shops were it would have been a good thing as they were fairly close together. However, the closest to me was 160 miles away. There were too many to do in a single day, but not enough to make paying for a hotel worthwhile.
Cori has SEVERAL different gas shops....I think it depends on where you live. I know that the gas shops around me...you have to take it what is on the Job Board but if you talk with them they will set some of them a few days later than what you can do on the site. I will then pick up more shops as I go since they will increase enough to take by then.

As for doing the shops 6-8 mins....I MISS those gas shops....The ones I have in my area take at LEAST 15 min unless there are only 4 pumps, which is almost NEVER around here they are mostly 12+ pumps.
CORI lost pictures of some of the stations I did and now I have to reshop them. They are going to pay me for both but I'm just upset I have to go back when it's their fault. I mystery shop full time and have a full calendar.

Even though it is frustrating to have to reshop when it is not your fault, at least they are paying you for both. They could just send you back to retake the pictures without offering any extra. Do you have to redo the complete audit or just retake the missing pics? Do you not have them downloaded to your computer to where you could just resend them?
MF has the area where I live. I would guess in a big city, different MSC's would be offering those shops.

Rut Roh...

I have 8 shops "out there" that I was told there is a server problem. $400 worth of shops from 8/7. Is that about when yours were done? I have not been offered anything yet. Also, why can't the pictures be re-submitted?

I don't understand why you would have to re-shop. All you need to do is resubmit the missing photos.

That's what I thought, too, Lisa.

On Monday when I called in to CORI to ask about my shops that were stuck in limbo, one of the schedulers said something about the pictures being lost. I offered to re-submit, but he said no. I have yet to be asked to re-shop.
Same here, missing report that I have a confirmation number on no less - but they want me to reshop it ?????

Still have shops hanging out there from 7-28 !
I'm getting more and more confused here. Lost reports and lost pictures do not equal reshops. Are they actually asking for the reshop or asking for everything to be resubmitted? And are they even sure what they need?

I have only one shop that is on hold for their server issue, but haven't heard anything else yet. Have they communicated to you about them and asked you to reshop? Mine was quite a distance away and I will be going back that way next week, but sure hope they let me know soon. Maybe I'll try the online chat again.

I have a shop from 8/6, I have been contacting them about. I was asked to resubmit one photo. Now I am told they are just waiting for IT to approve. This shop had a heavy bonus. I did not realize others were having problems, from the same time-frame. Thanks for letting me know! I thought it was just me.
I just spoke to a scheduler at CORI...He said the shops that are in question are those done from 8/1 to 8/10.

He said they did try and have some of the shoppers re-submit pics and receipts, but there are over 2000 shops involved.

He said they are going to be paying shoppers for the original jobs as well as giving first right of refusal on the re-shop at the same price. He could not give me a timeline, but did say the powers that be were working on it.

I think I am even more confused now...
Now it makes me wonder if the delays in processing mean they have passed the deadline for submitting the shops to the client leaving reshops as the only option. At least you heard they intend to do the right thing and pay for the original shops.

Good point, Lisa. The scheduler also said the shops have to be "ordered" first.
Thanks to you all for the info. My shop was also from 8/6. But I had two from the same date that have been approved. weird, for sure.

All shops I have done this month have been approved within
several hours of me submitting them.

I do notice several shops (not mine) being reposted on the board
at high amounts(35-50). Must be the shops from these issues.

I tried that. They said it's been too long. The shops were done around August 1.

No, not for me. It was just a flat "we didn't receive your report" (but I have the confirmation number ... obviously another job that got lost in the server troubles ) and I offered to resubmit the report if needed but no ... they want it reshopped.

I don't think so.
I have about 23 shops done on 7/31 that I've not been paid on. When I called, I was told that they were put on some sort of hold for questioning about the shop. Pffft. I spoke to a supervisor there who said as long as there were no exceptions that I'd be paid...but this whole business about questionable shops makes me leery that they will try to get out of it somehow...and reshopping is out of the question as I did them while visiting family in another state. I will be very upset if payment isn't forthcoming.
