Sinclair Check??

Perhaps I am impatient, but Sinclair's website states that checks were mailed Dec 16th. Has anyone received theirs? I'm still waiting on mine. I guess the mail is running slow due to Christmas. (I was really hoping to receive it by today. I wanted to use it to buy some last minute gifts!)

I got mine yesterday. The checks were cut the 13th, mailed the 16th, and honestly I would expect San Antonio to Houston to not take a whole week but then again it is the holiday season.

That's what I was told when I called on the 20th to ask where they were.

They should be cutting those checks pretty soon. Typically they are cut on the 25th of the month which this time around falls on a Saturday, and mailed soon thereafter.
Agreed. Most likely checks will be cut on Monday and then mailed. It takes the check over a week to get to me some months.
Well, it's the 28th and no sign on the website that checks were cut. Hmmm.... wonder what is going on this month.
I'm not seeing any shops. Goodness knows what I've done now. I know my last few shops weren't late and I've done reports for this shop dozens of time. sad smiley
I just got an email to only claim part of the money earned on my taxes. Hmmm.......that's not legal. We have to claim everything that we make on our taxes. Wonder what they're up to?
Im not sure what kind of email you received. I know on their portal they highlight what part to claim. The other column lists reimbursements. You should not claim the reimbursements as income. In other words, the dollar amount that was paid out is not what you claim on your taxes.

Just a thought.

Oops, silly me. I forgot that I was being reimbursed. This is what I get trying to do 50 things at once while waiting on my car. Thank you. smiling smiley
I don't think I've ever seen more shops on their board than I do right now. Granted I have about 15 zip codes I keep in my list so that probably helps.

I haven't seen any shops for a few days. Thought it was me, but rereading this thread, I'm wondering if there is something going on over there.
Just saw on the Sinclair site that my December check is going to be cut February 3.
I just noticed that as well. That is the latest they have ever taken to cut checks. Something must be glitchy.
I hope they are just having a glitch or two rather than sliding down the slick decent to fraud.

The payment history on my account shows one check paying for two jobs. The actual check paid for one job. It's been almost 4 months and two people haven't fixed it or paid for the job that was inaccurately added to the payment record. One person has told me at least three times that they would cut a manual check. It's not a big dollar amount in play but if a trend is developing...I want to act before I get burned big time.

I can deal with a long payment turn-around but dishonesty is not something I can tolerate. I reached out to a third person today and if this matter is not resolved I will have to cut them loose...even though I like sharing the pretzels.

Will update within a month with how this is handled.
I finally got my check for my December shops on Monday.

I also got an email from a Sinclair scheduler yesterday wanting help with ready made carry-out pizza shops that had been on the board earlier in the month, and it asked that I reply by email to request one. I checked the website right after, and there are still no shops listed. It seems very fishy to me.
UPDATE:
Sean Barna resolved the payment problem I was having. He replied to my email within the same day. Payment was received in a reasonable time period.

I'm not sure if they are having growing pains, contractions or if I just got caught by back-to-back dropped balls. No matter what, being cautious in business is wise. I need to cut down on the pretzels anyway so we'll see what the next few months brings.

I just did one Sat.

Liz
I did 4 of them last Saturday, so they are still around.

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
