Oh, oh...Get ready to be threatened to be sued by OP (chrsj) but you are welcome to join myself, nutmegstategirl and SoCalMama because we will all be going to crazyland where OP (chrsj) is going to lodge his suit. Be aware that you will have to have enough $$$ to cover your transportation and out-of-pocket expenses.

Hi Chrisj. Was the purpose of your original post only to warn everyone of HS Brands or were you also looking for some feedback as well to see if you had been partly or fully in error and earned the low scores?

If it's the latter, I have an idea. Perhaps you could post some or all of the redacted narrative here. There are other editors here as well as interested shoppers who would be happy to have a look and offer up constructive criticism.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
I complete assignments for HS Brands all the time and have never had a problem. I also use there and their properly, and take tours when indicated in the guidelines.
Well my pm from the OP said at least he has a real job and doesn't have to mystery shop. If he has such a poor opinion of mystery shopping, why is he here on a mystery shopping forum? And apparently he IS mystery shopping. Go figure. Anyway, best of luck Chrisj. Sounds like your going to need it.

Hey CoffeeQueen...I have received numerous pms from OP (chrsj) with threats, etc. but am sparing everyone from having to read them but...

Get ready to be threatened to be sued by OP (chrsj) but you are welcome to join myself, nutmegstategirl, AustinMom and SoCalMama because we will all be going to crazyland where OP (chrsj) is going to lodge his suit. Be aware that you will have to have enough $$$ to cover your transportation and out-of-pocket expenses (per OP).

Perhaps the moderator/facilitator of this blog may want to comment on chrsj's behavior? Just sayin'.
Park City you were the one who started the whole thing and you want to complain to the moderator. You were the one out of line Park City.
Just deducting points is nothing to waste your energy getting upset about. When you have repeated errors points will be deducted. You are lucky that they are not deducting actual money for the errors that are needed to be corrected. Are you certain that the inconsistencies are not on your end?

Which is it, you made no mistakes or you just consider your errors minor? Some companies will not reduce scores for a few minor errors, others expect the report to be client ready and require no editing. It doesn't matter if you consider the error minor, your client, the MSC, does not. If the MSC has a policy to accept no errors it is not pettiness.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
the scheduler changed my scores to make them higher, saying the errors were minor. Such as a small case letter instead or a large case letter
I've done many shops for them. The reports are very detailed, e.g., you even have to re-state the affirmative answers in the narratives, not only comment on the negative answers. There are several sections to complete. Several of my shops were edited by Wordsmith Pros editors, Cassie in particular. After I submitted the reports, I received e-mails asking me to clarify answers, confirm names, double check times, make my comments fit my answers, etc. (it's a VERY detailed report!). I have fixed reports, sent them in and had them sent back for some additional minor work. Since the job pays well, I don't mind. Even with the back and forth tedium, I have ALWAYS gotten tens on my reports! NEVER anything less! I know going in that they take a long time to pay, but I have always gotten the bonus on top of the fee and reimbursement, so I don't mind.
