Beyond Hello and Scheduling delays

In the past, I noticed there were certain companies that would leave applications pending until the shops were very close to the deadline. I would apply and then wait and be annoyed. This caused me to think very hard about even applying. Now that company has merged with Beyond Hello, and I am running into the same waiting game. I applied several days ago, and the shop dates were until the 15th. The apps are still pending, and the site requests that you do not contact schedulers for the status of pending applications. There are 7 applications open for me, and it is getting close enough that I will need to start cancelling them. They are in two different areas, so they will need two days, and I was not planning on spending a weekend for these. Does this frustrate anyone else? How are we supposed to be dependable if the company is sleeping on the front end? I have worked for this company in the past, when they were by themselves, and they were fine. Has anyone else noticed a change with them since the merger?

When it gets too close to the deadline, I cancel the application. I need to book other shops and cannot waste time waiting on anyone. This was with Bare, not B.H.
I cancelled a couple of applications on Sunday with Beyond Hello for this very reason.
I just cancelled 5 shop requests last night with them for the same reason. These must be the take a picture of drive-thru prices we're talking about? I am assuming they only need X amount done per area but list every possible location. They initially assign what they need then keep the extras hanging in case they need a few more done at the last second. Again this is my assumption.

Interesting. I used to have this issue with one of the groups they merged with, and assumed that was where the problem was. I will give it until tonight-and will be deleting mine as well. I hope everyone is having a great month!
I just did one went back the second time got out of the car stood directly in front of the menu and took the pictures. I just got notification that they could not use that shop the pictures were not good so I said please cancel the others I'm finished
Okay, so yes, I have a bit of an inside lane on this. There are tons of locations that CAN BE shopped but there is a quota for how many they actually need in an area (or how many shops for each franchise). There have been a lot of changes with this company recently and I believe they are playing some catch-up in learning how the software works. Finally, if you do accept a shop they send you and e-mail that makes you confirm that you will do the shop. So you are not on the hook for the shop (so I understand) until you actually hit "confirm" on your job board. The good thing is that you can apply for as many as you like without penalty (as I understand it) but the down side is that until you actually go in and confirm it you are not officially assigned the shop.
The scheduling delays with Mystery Researchers have been going on for a while now. I don't recall so many with Beyond Hello until they were bought out. There shouldn't be much of a learning curve, if any, since both companies were using the Sassie platform. I'm not sure how much customization Sassie does or can do for individual MSCs but the basics would still be the same.

Man of Mystery,

It makes no sense for the MSC to potentially give us no time to plan the shop. The end date was the 15th. I'm not one to provide an emergency last second shop for a just a couple of dollars in my pocket after expenses.

Several MSCs require a follow up confirmation. They just tend to assign tasks within a reasonable window.

I went and deleted 7 applications that are due tomorrow. I felt 4 days was fair to wait for a response. If they really need them done now, it will cost a bit more. (Unless one of the other local shoppers decides to take them last minute)
I experienced that with them last year with their clothing shops. Sucks when you want to make a route with other shops you have and it takes them two weeks to make a decision.

BARE is very notorious for this in my experience as well. I applied for the bank shops and am still "waiting". I remember why I deactivated myself. Waste of time

Just telling you what I know. There are other companies acquired in the merger and not all are familiar with Sassie.
Now I'm trying to remember who Mystery Researchers bought in addition to Insula and Beyond Hello. Wasn't there a third?

Sassie is one of the easiest platforms to use. If these employees can not figure it out, they should find a new line of business.
Insula was on Prophet I believe.

I believe your last comment is closer to the truth. In fact the shops are assigned quickly, but an application by another shopper is not deleted until the shop is complete. That way, you are a back-up for the first shopper.

Also, I had done a number of shops in January for Beyond Hello for a particular client - same shops that I had done for Mystery Researchers. These shops had been assigned quickly to me. In February, they sat in pending, so I sent an e-mail though one of the completed shops to the scheduler, asking if there was a problem. There was, it got fixed, and I was assigned the shops. I had another set of shops that I had done for Beyond Hello that I could not get assigned, so I sent that scheduler a note, through a completed shop, asking for help. Same thing - someone had put a note on my file that I had insurance, therefore could not complete the shop. This second scheduler fixed it, and I got the shops.

If you know you are on solid ground, I would say, contact the scheduler, though a previously completed shop. If you have not done a shop before, wait, see if you get assigned, then delete the pending shop when time is running out for you. If you consistently request shops with each round, the scheduler will see that, and eventually try out a shopper that has not worked the client previously.
This is my problem. I've had a hand full of apps just sitting there for a month. .. so is due today. Debating on canceling them. So annoying.
Beyond Hello is notorias for letting them sit or they tell you somone else has been scheduled for that shop and then you see the same shop the follwoing day again.

I wonder if this is due to lazy schedulers.

Makes no sense to me!
