Mintel recruiting more daily mail survey participants

I just logged in to Mintel and saw on the open recruitment page that they are welcoming requests to participate in the Daily Mail Survey. This is a very simple project, pays a flat $60/month, and they pay like clockwork. I've been doing this since July. No mileage expenses, very fair pay, and the Mintel folks working on this are easy to communicate with.

Do you have a direct link?

At the bottom of each page is this forum's "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies". Check there for a link to register with the company.

Seem to not be recruiting in Arkansas..darn. Nothing shows available.

Make sure you look at the Open Recruiting page - there's a tab for that at the top of the home page. Hope you can snare one! On that same page they also have recruitment notices for a few other pretty easy assignments.
Thank you! I found another assignment on there, too. I had registered with them a while ago but saw nothing in my area so I had them in my ignore-for-now folder.

We are all here on earth to help others....What on earth the others are here for I don't know.

What does it entail? Do you just enter who it's from and the date received, or do you have to mail it in? I've seen other websites (not MSC's) that require you to mail in your junk mail for a fee, but I've never felt comfortable doing that with my name and potential personal information inside that some companies somehow get. I'd rather just shred them. But $60/month is enticing and I would like to know more. smiling smiley
You only send in pieces of mail from non-profit organizations. Each day, you report the type of mail (letter, postcard, flyer, etc.), where it's from (in general terms: financial, insurance, personal), and the type of postage. That's it smiling smiley
I have avoided this shop because I sometimes travel on routes and all my mail gets piled up in my mailbox. I have assumed that daily reports are required, and that reporting 2 or 3 days of aggregated mail would not work. Can anyone comment on that aspect?

So if I have to physically send it in, do they pay for postage?
@myst4au They allow you to submit mail accumulated over several days on one survey. Say if you'll be on vacation/out of town Monday-Friday, submit the mail received Monday-Saturday on Saturday.

@mkkp Yes, you mail the pieces to them and they reimburse the cost of postage. The payment and reimbursement are both received quickly (I was already paid for August).
Nothing near me right now (or maybe I missed the boat for this one), but thanks for posting this and letting us know! I signed up--they seem like a cool company.
They also want you to send the political stuff you get in the mail. They pay the postage.
I clicked on the Open Recruitment and filled out all of the info. Will I receive an email if I am chosen to participate in the Direct Mail opportunity? There were no other shops in my area.
I filled out the 'application' for this on the 4th and still haven't heard back, so I was wondering the same thing.
I think you will receive a message one way or another because Mintel folks are very good at communicating. It may not be immediate, but I'm pretty sure you'll hear from them.
I haven't heard anything either and I responded right away. I wish they'd say when we should know.
