Lack of jobs on Market Force

My job board has been noticeably void of shops other than burgers. MF used to be bursting with clients - restaurants, eye glass shops, lots of choices. Lately - cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger. Even the grocery stores are MIA.
I see two "pages" of available jobs and I have all FF shops permanently blocked from my log. Many shops are offering small bonuses. Too small for me.
Marg, In my area, it looks like all the shops for December are done except burgers. I did notice that some grocery and retail shops got added for the first of January.
Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
My area has the standard number of shops for this time of the month. Maybe a few less but I would guess that's because they've been proactive in getting shops done before the holidays.

Yes, the BOGO on the receipt has been there for a long time now so I doubt that is a major factor in whatever may or may not be happening in the mystery shop biz.

The major client ff shops are no longer in my area (greater Philly), but I still see a few of the other quick serve burger shops. It is mostly grocery shops and perishable audits. They offer low fees for the perishable audit and no fee for the grocery shops. Then they frantically call you on the weekend and ask you to fill them. I had the nerve to ask for a 12.00 fee for the grocery shop. I didn't want it, my weekends are hectic enough. Sure enough, they turned me down and countered with 10.00. God I really don't like the grocery shops.
Most grocery shops I have seen advertised pay almost nothing, like $7 or in that arena, and require far too many interactions to make it worthwhile for me. There is one that offers $14 and a reasonable number of transactions and that's the one I like to do. I get called a lot for the Save Mart ones, but it's one with just a nothing fee and way too many interactions. No, thank you. Those locations are not even close to me.

Yep, I am going to miss those huge bonuses.
I just completed three bonus ff shops for this company (on different days), went to look for more (got greedy, y'know), and nothing. Nada. Zilcho. I hadn't heard about the 30 day blackout....but even within 200 miles of my home, nothing. I double checked my emails to make sure I hadn't been notified that I'd been deactivated (not that that necessarily means I haven't been) and nothing. I'll miss the money, too, if those shops are really done. I'm hoping that it's just something to do with the holidays--I very vaguely remember something similar last year, but I can't remember enough detail to discuss any more than I have :-(

I heard today on the news that the breakfast thing has worked out well and that they are getting biz from customers who have not been there in weeks, but are coming for breakfast for lunch or dinner.
The MF job board has been a "ghost town" for 5 days....

What a tizzy they have been in to book December shops. I get two or three calls, same day, from different schedulers seeking to book the same assignment. Schedulers have had the same accent, non-English, with uncharacteristic manners.

In my area I've been seeing the usual number of FF, fast casual and supermarket, a few phone shops, tax prep, etc. Seems normal.
there is posibility that they just blocked you from certain mystery shops.

about Fast Food chain? I realy do not care: I do not like that particular ne and never did them...my concern is about grocery shops. But thank you for link..

! am about the same area as you Eastern PA (an hour to drive north on Rte 309). They blocked many grocery shops from my schedule: I think because of rotation. They did similar thing in the past for some casual shops and discounted grocery shops. But i asked them later to allow me to do them and they returned them back...Interesting thing: I got e-mail from them with "Congratulations of making some few hundreds shops with them"...and it was a red flag for me..I knew that some blocking is on the way. I was right..it has happened right on my B-day!

Zilch here! Got a call for a hedgehog shop few miles away one day lead, probably a flake cuz some snow flakes.

Awhile back, I noticed that depending on how I searched, shops would randomly appear/reappear. For example, if I used the zip code, I might not see anything, but if I typed the town name, there might be some...or if I used a nearby town name instead. It didn't make much sense. I wasn't seeing shops where I normally saw them, yet I might have a scheduler call asking me to do a shop that wasn't visible to me on my computer. I had done a lot of gas shops, then suddenly--nothing. One day a scheduler called with a gas shop, and after I did it, I got a congratulatory email for having completed X number of shops for MF. After that, more shops started appearing on the job board again. I'm not sure if that was coincidental. I wondered if maybe recent website changes were glitching and system and not showing all available jobs. Things seem back to normal now for me. I'm currently seeing FF shops, gas shops, tax service, hardware stores, cell phone shops, etc. The tax service shops look decent if you want help filing a simple return. Maybe some people were locked out until 2016 because you were nearing the break point requiring MF to send you a 1099 for 2015?
I doubt that is the reason. I surpassed that breaking point back in January or February 2015 but this MSC kept me busy all throughout the year.@SunnyBrook wrote:

What I am more surprised about is that I have been receiving bonus offers for JANUARY shops from this MSC and another one in the first week of the New Year. The kicker is that they are actual January jobs and not leftovers from December.
