Maritz CX..the check's in the mail NOT !!!

Nice people and a legit company BUT 2X now still waiting for check that was send out on first of the month and not received until 3rd week. That's 3 weeks delay twice in 2 months.
If there is anyone from Maritz lurking here, please please please stop using paper checks via USPS and wire the $ or paypal, like most every other MSC has been doing.I have bills to pay. thank you.

That is unusual. I like the fact they pay twice a month and OK with paper checks. The latest check, dated 12/14, was received yesterday. Two, three, four days lag time is typical. Your situation is not the norm.
A checked dated 12/14 arrived yesterday for me... But I'm still waiting for the check dated 11/30 to arrive. Fortunately, the in my case the one that did arrive was the larger of the two (10 shops vs 1 shop).

I hope your check arrives soon!
Sweets, suggest you double check to see if the 1 shop was not included in the 2nd check.
I called them a few days ago about the first check. They told me that there was a check mailed on 11/30 for one shop, and that I had a check that was being sent that day (12/14) for 10 shops, and that I have another check coming at the end of the month for 7 more shops.
I never ever had a problem with Maritz CX until this last 30 days when 2 checks were weeks late. The nice folks @ Maritz said that they have a problem with their local PO. I am still waiting on the 12/01 check, and hoping the $ owed me for 12/15 is, also, not MIA. Maritz needs to get with the program and pay via DD or pp.
I got my check yesterday. It was a good one that had a shop with a $32 incentive, on top of the normal shop fees. The client did a bad job though and they didn't like the report I gave them. Next time... tell your staff to help out in other departments (even if it was just to say "Hi! We see you"winking smiley.
I'm a little too lax waiting for my payments.....I was starting to wonder if i needed to submit an invoice for payment or something bec mine is pretty late
You have to submit an invoice online for each shop as you do it. The receipt (sometimes multiple receipts in one scan) have to be submitted again. Even if there is no receipt, you have to still submit an invoice. The easiest way to avoid forgetting is to submit the invoice as soon as you submit the shop report.

I know I did that.....they don't have record...so after the holiday I will get it worked out....she even said to me "you have shopped with us for a long time.....wonder what happened".....
I would take care of it now and not wait until after the holidays. You might try talking with admin. I suggest you call the team involved, explain your situation and ask to be switched to admin. They can take care of it even though the 14 day period for invoicing has probably passed.
They "lost" one of my checks from October 2015. My mailing address is correct and I have received checks for all of my November shops. They had to "investigate" before putting a stop payment on the check and now I won't be paid until January 2016. This will throw off my taxes.
Sybil - why will it throw off your taxes? You will receive less money in 2015, and more in 2016. Shops you do in December 2015 are unlikely to be paid until 2016. While I understand that you want your money ASAP, I don't understand how this will throw off your taxes. You incur expenses in the year you incur them, and you receive income in the year you receive it. What is the issue?

I agree with myst4. Your taxes depend on income earned in 2015, but not necessarily received in 2015. I think most people have two columns for their taxes - income received in 2015 but earned in 2014 and income earned in 2015 but received in 2016. At least that is the way I work it.
For what it is worth, I just received my check for the 2nd half of Dec. Merry Christmas. As I recall, Maritz usually sends out the second half Dec check early.

The issue is that the MSC is reporting that they paid me in October 2015 but I won't be receiving the payment (if it arrives) in January 2016. This will mean that my tax form from this company will not match my records which throws off my accounting and my tax prep. I basically have already completed my taxes for ms'ing. I just won't file until I have everything from my FT job.

But I can already see this turning into a big debate. Tax talk in a ms'ing forum of armchair tax experts always turns into a big debate here. Everyone has their own way of running their business. What works for me may not work for you and vice versa.
I am still waiting for 2 checks from Maritz CX. Why oh why won't they handle payments electronically ? I will need to think hard before completing more shops until they get it together and start paying via wire or paypal. I needed those 2 checks for the holidays.
I couldn't believe one of the Maritz auditors told me to falsify one of my receipts so it matched what the customer wanted! I am absolutely d.o.n.e. with working for Maritz. Ever!
YIKES! I thought the invoicing was automated by submitting your report. I've done a ton of Maritz shops for December and didn't submit any invoices.

I don't even see a history of my shops completed.

What do I do now?

you need to get them submitted, you may have to call there and get somebody to do them for you.....
I agree, BUT I did get my first January payment in December to close out the year end. It came in handy after spending all that Xmas shopping money. The problem is, I check the postdates and I have gotten checks within two days of mailing, up to two weeks from mailing. The post office is not fast like UPS or FedEX. It's frustrating since I make half of my monthly income from Maritz. If they switch to paypal the fees will begin to decline as well.
Nanabelle. Thank you. I called and a wonderful lady in the Accounts Payable department helped me out to get my invoices submitted. Better late than losing out on payment for 9 shops.

I am so glad I found this discussion thread on the forum. Thanks everyone!
I still have not received the checks Maritz CX said were mailed out 11/30 & 12/20 ish. No more shopping for them until I have been paid in full.
Sally, how do you falsify a receipt? Do you change the date, or the location, or the amount? How do you do that and make it look like an original?

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
It was a handwritten receipt with the date and the item purchased on it. There was no price, so the auditor told me to write in the price and resubmit the receipt. To me, that is falsifying a receipt because it changed what the original receipt stated. It was a very rural station and this was during the mystery shop portion of the shop. There was no cash register and I only got a manual, charge-card type receipt because I asked for one.
I have not received my check mailed 11/30 either and they have acted like I was out of line by asking the status of it anytime I have inquired. Absolutely no more shopping for them. Period.
