You have to submit an invoice online for each shop as you do it. The receipt (sometimes multiple receipts in one scan) have to be submitted again. Even if there is no receipt, you have to still submit an invoice. The easiest way to avoid forgetting is to submit the invoice as soon as you submit the shop report.@nanabelle wrote:

The issue is that the MSC is reporting that they paid me in October 2015 but I won't be receiving the payment (if it arrives) in January 2016. This will mean that my tax form from this company will not match my records which throws off my accounting and my tax prep. I basically have already completed my taxes for ms'ing. I just won't file until I have everything from my FT job.@myst4au wrote:
Sybil - why will it throw off your taxes? You will receive less money in 2015, and more in 2016. Shops you do in December 2015 are unlikely to be paid until 2016. While I understand that you want your money ASAP, I don't understand how this will throw off your taxes. You incur expenses in the year you incur them, and you receive income in the year you receive it. What is the issue?

YIKES! I thought the invoicing was automated by submitting your report. I've done a ton of Maritz shops for December and didn't submit any invoices.
I don't even see a history of my shops completed.
What do I do now?

I couldn't believe one of the Maritz auditors told me to falsify one of my receipts so it matched what the customer wanted! I am absolutely d.o.n.e. with working for Maritz. Ever!
