Me, too. But only received half what I was expecting! Due to a lot of THEIR computer problems, my shops the last week of January weren't approved until February. BUMMER.

That does not seem fair. They always say they pay for the previous months shop by the 15th of the following month. Maybe call them and see if they can push forward your pay. smiling smiley

I was told (by someone here) that MF pays based on when shops are completed, not approved, but it sounds like that is not always the case. I had 2 shops that I did on Saturday, January 30 that weren't approved until Monday, February 1, but I got paid for them on 2/10.
I have ZERO future MF events scheduled for the first time since I started shopping. After the loss of the biggest fast food client, every other shop has been snatched up before I can even see it other than the tax return shops and a few not so good locations. I received a 1099 from them for last year.
Is it me or are they taking longer to approve reports? I've noticed them staying in QC quite a bit longer than before. Perhaps with the loss of their major FF client they are reviewing reports with a little more scrutiny?

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
I think they are actually getting faster again. Last Fall I noticed that it was taking a VERY long time to review reports. Even the FF client they lost, which they used to review within hours, sometimes minutes, took days, They are still taking longer than they used to, but they seem faster to me.
My reports are being processed very fast. I performed two shops for them back-to-back. I submitted the first report and by the time I finished the second report, the first report was already in QC including the receipt. I am also receiving my payments on time or even earlier than expected.

Reports go to "In QC" status automatically when you submit them.

I meant completed with the QC process as in finalized or whatever the status changes into. I don't pay much attention to it since their system has always worked like clockwork for me.
They just posted 2 of my shops as " invalid" due to a " too small picture"... This company is BS!! After doing 100's of shops and NEVER complaining about my pics...all of a sudden they are too small- sounds like they are gonna turn in MY shop and pocket the money for themselves.

As small as the amount of pay is, it wouldn't make sense for a reputable company to invalidate a couple of your shops to pocket the money for themselves. It's a lot more likely that the photos on these two shops were too small and were unusable. Having done "100s of shops" with no complaints does not insure that you will always take perfect photos. Have you gone back and looked at the photos?

In early October, you posted that you had been mystery shopping for 3-1/2 weeks, so that would mean you have worked as a mystery shopper less than 6 months. How many 100s of shops have you done for MF and why are you so sure you couldn't possibly have goofed? And why are you so quick to believe the company just wants to turn in your shop and pocket the money for themselves? After doing "100s of shops" for MF, has it been your experience that they invalidate shops to pocket the money or have you been paid for the 100s of shops? If MF were turning in shops and pocketing the money, would you have had so many successful shops during your work with them?

Take responsibility. Sometimes shoppers goof.

You might consider emailing the MF Help Desk and asking if you can resubmit the photos. One time I accidentally uploaded the wrong receipt. I realized it right away and emailed the Help Desk. They cleared the receipt area so I could upload it again. Mine hadn't been invalidated yet because I realized immediately my mistake, but they may very well work with you and "revalidate" the shops if they receive the proper uploads. It's worth a try at least.
Well, for the first time ever, I received an email asking for a clearer picture of the receipt of the shop I submitted last Saturday. I was aware that it was more blurred than usual but I could read the details in the picture I took. And there was still the detailed data provided in the report. It's possible that there is a new editor. So I took a picture with my cell phone and am crossing my fingers. The only time I had an issue with a report was when they confused the picture with that of the adult store as the front of the store was similar to that of the kid's store.
I use a scanner 100% of the time, for receipts, business cards and brochures. smiling smiley

To give you an idea, the famous botox pizza shop, (on a whim), I took pictures on my cell phone and on my digital camera (to see the difference) and found the cell phone pictures were not as clear as the digi camera. I would be worried about taking pictures of receipts on my cell phone, with the exception of a famous young person's clothing store, where you had to snap a picture of your receipt and then submit a picture of your receipt too (scanned).
I now take all my pics dimension to be the same as another MSC. I really don't have to to resize for each MSC. so, 640 x 480 is it.smiling smiley

@Sybil2-------> I know what you mean by reporting back to back. You submit report one. it land in .QC By the time you finish submitting the second report, the first report have been approvedsmiling smiley
