Confero scheduler can't read?

The email states "must be completed October 7th or 8th. I apply on the 7th and in the comments "I need to know by 3:00 pm CST" so 5:30 pm I get assigned the shop for October 10th. Guess they don't like following guidelines (mine or theirs).

Sometimes schedulers use the same email over again for different shop dates or time periods and they go through and change all or most of the information (regarding dates and times) but sometimes they forget to change a few things--important things like the date!
Maybe I am missing something here. You were assigned the shop, the date was adjusted but you are not complaining that the date is bad for you.

The date was bad for me but i made it work.
Hopefully this clears things up...
According to the email and the Confero job board on the website it was only available for 10/7 and 10/8. I applied for 10/7 and in the little comment box above the calendar I wrote "I need to know by 3:00 pm CST" so 2.5hrs past my deadline at 5:30 the scheduler assigns it to me for 10/10 (which wasn't even an option)

10/7 and 10/8 were the only available dates on the job board calendar, plus the description on the job board clearly stated 10/7 or 10/8 only
Happens with post office shops every time. I apply for a certain date and it is rarely assigned for the same date.

Since the enactment of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 there is no part of the United States which uses CST in October. Are you outside the United States or did you mean 3:00 pm CDT?

speaking of the post office shops, I applied for a REG box shop and was assigned a DIM weight shop and couldn't get it changed and couldn't get help either. Those are a pain when you aren't planning for one.

I did not know that. I am in the US I guess I'll just write out Central Time zone from now on. This makes it even worse though, since CST is even an hour earlier right now so it was technically assigned 3.5 hours late
There jobs are not very easy and most have a lot going on.

I am waiting for the next exciting opportunity!
