Sinclair

Irritation today. Have you every put in detailed quotes and narratives and saved the survey multiple times for a bank shop, only to put in the final detail of the time left to find out that the survey details you had saved were gone? Well, I did this. I stated they did not have to pay me the $14 as time is money as their server has a problem. I had no problem saving the restaurant shop for the same company that I had just entered and had saved multiple times during the entry. Not sure I want to work for them, as it is rather irritating to drive 1/2 hour and only get $14 for a shop that their server did not save! I am not going to re-enter the whole .....thing again!

The only time I had an issue with a narrative not being saved was when I followed instructions and wrote a detailed 'blow by blow' of a shop and when I entered it the form froze. Luckily my narrative was in Word so I logged in and put the narrative in again and the form froze. We eventually discovered that my narrative was more than twice as long as the form allowed and that was what was crashing the form. Sinclair worked with me to get it all sorted out. Their proprietary software is somewhat primitive so I always write up any narrative that is more than a couple of sentences in Word just as a precaution and have had no further issues.
Well, today I called the company and got what I recall was a scheduling manager. I told her what happened and she said they had switched Internet companies and that is probably when the problem occurred. Strange they would disconnect in the evening instead of say 2-4 in am when a lot of servers may be down for maintenance. She asked if I wanted to do the survey over the phone. I had to do another shop and said yes, they could call back in 2 hrs or more. I never heard from them. Oh well, guess I learned that doing a narrative in Word is a good idea. I just gave up the $14.00 shop.
I got an email which I was told by Mrs Hernandez this morning was automated. Mrs Hernandez is one of the scheduling manager's. She is the one who said someone would call me to do the shop over the phone. Well they never did. She said the scheduling manager for the bank shop I did was not there yesterday, so she asked another scheduling manager to call. No call was placed. She asked today again if someone could call me? I was explaining my husband is a retired IT professional and he found it strange that they switched providers during a time that people would be entering shops. That was the excuse that Mrs Hernandez gave for the fact I had saved the shop many times during the input, only at the end to have it disappear as I put in time completed.

She was rude in saying my husband did not know everthing about IT!!! She talked over me. I asked to speak to the person who is over the scheduling managers. She did not understand that and I had to repeat it twice. She finally said the owner and he does not talk to dhoppers!!! I will find that owner!! Rudest woman in talking over me.

Well the latest - I got thru to Ms Carrasco whose shop this was. She said she had to get permission to schedule the survey over the phone! She would call me back. I said why don't you put me on hold and get permission from Ms Hernandez so you won't have to call me back. She hung up! She also stated on a recorded line that they switched Internet providers at 5pm. That is not when I input the shop. She said she got an email regarding the switch. So.....what do you make of this. My husband and myself at this point will not work for them

You are obviously annoyed and from your last 3 posts it sounds as if your annoyance escalated to aggression. When that shift happens and you are taking your annoyance with person A out on person B, you will get nowhere. By now you have told them they are liars and heaven knows what else. Kiss the job you were attempting to report goodbye and even if you choose not to work with them, they are unlikely to be willing to work with you.
I am filing a complaint with the BBB as others have. I was nice said I did not want to be paid. However no excuse for their rudeness and saying they would call and no call and other excuses. No, we choose not to work for them because of Ms Carussco and Ms Hernandez. Now I have decided I should be paid as I completed the shop. By the way an IT techie knows there are copies of the saved survey that disappeared!!! No, I did not call them liars. Perhaps a recorded call would show that?
1) If you actually recorded the call, make sure that you and they were in single-party consent states.
2) Most BBB will not accept a "case" involving money owed to a contractor. BBB's view their role as an intermediary between a business and a consumer who has purchased goods or services. You are a contractor, and have not purchased anything from the MSC.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
The old saved surveys would be on the server!!! Simple!! Maybe they just don't want to do what they said they would do. Of course, they can delete things off their server.

Probably not directly, but when they suggest that it could be a problem of their system due to change in internet providers and your dander is up because that change supposedly happened at 5 and you are quick to point out you weren't putting in your report at that time, what would you call it? It certainly is not trust you are exhibiting!
What would you call their response that they switched providers at 5 pm and that was the reason the last session of saving survey was not done? As I said the shop survey for the bank was put in well after 5 pm. So, my question is, why haven't they produced the old saved survey off their server? Huh??
Your attitude? Were you ASKING for assistance or DEMANDING service? I suspect the former was where you started perhaps, but obviously the later was where you ended up.
I asked and got a run around and rudeness. I want to move on - I am too busy now to deal with this crap.
Just a reminder...Do NOT feed the troll. Just report to Jacob and/or the mods. Enjoy a Troll Free Night..at least until the Presidential Debate starts!
