Julie Posner of CSE fired me because I asked for a bonus

I get the impression it was a conversation of two people with short fuses (either temporary or permanent ones).

I still say if Julie did in fact request the badge return as a result of simply asking for a bonus (or pay increase if that's what you want to call it, that's immaterial) then that is indeed an overreaction. If the request was accompanied with language that the OP would not do them without a bonus then yes, she would obviously nees the badge back.

Ewww. The thought of taking my food into a public restroom, or any restroom for that matter, is just plain yucky.

I triple like that comment. Took the words right off of my fingertips. I would go sit at a gate where there weren't a lot of people out of sight of the outlet, but germs are everywhere in an airport...just fewer at the gate than in the restroom (I hope).
" I had other reasons for wanting a badge which would be difficult to explain without giving away to much information about the client."
Guys, you are missing what the OP stated. He wants a badge that he can use that is not related to the shopping projects. Does that sound fishy to you? Perhaps the OP wants to make himself sound of self importance and bad mouth the scheduler.
Yes, I think we all caught that, and it is strange that he wanted the badge for other reasons, but the point is moot now since he no longer has a badge and no one really seems to find the scheduler to blame in the situation. And he hasn't been back to post and clarify anything, so...
Seens like alot of work to get a badge for some other reason, when all one needs to do to get past security is buy a refundable 1 way ticket or buy from an airline that allows cancellations with refund within 24 hrs of buying the ticket.
