MaritzCX and KSS

Is it just in my area or has MartizCX turned over most of their scheduling to Kern? Nearly all the shops more than a few miles from me are not listed on the MaritzCX site at all, but are on KSS... I'm find with Kern, but that that mean I can no longer self-assign a lot of their shops, which makes route planning more difficult.... I've found a couple of the Kern schedulers are not particular responsive and my requests can sit for two or three days - which is really a frustration when I am making a request for something the next day that has only a two day window.

It is fairly similar in my area. Maritz has several shops posted, but KSS has a lot now. My guess is that Maritz was having trouble filling their shops. What we're seeing (at least in our areas) is a reversal of their earlier decision to schedule their own shops. Fortunately, the shops sit on the KSS board as well. It's easy for me to get shops, in addition to self-assigning on the Maritz site.
I schedule bank shops through KSS in other cities that I could not schedule through Maritz. Also car wash shops.

On a side note, did you see the new shops KSS came out with today, they want a interaction about a tech product for $10. How low can they go?
I got $44 each for two identical shops scheduled by them for that msc, over two months ago. Hold out.
I don't think they'll ever get to that amount in my area. People will take most if not all of them at the $10 level.
I saw those as well. I also received an email from KSS for an investment phone shop that used to pay $15. Now it pays $12...unfortunate downward trends. I deleted both emails.
A sure sign that the apocalypse is upon us.....KSS and its reigning queen gaining more power and control in the MS biz!
I have seen that with the bank shops as well. Kerns will assign one ones farther away, where Maritz will not.

KSS is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to plan ahead. Ever! They do not respond to emails. They are snail's pace S L O W....... I never understood why request a certain date and they let it pass by at least a week then assign. I do understand taking a shopper and if they flake then assign next in line. But this seems to just be their no rush norm. They obviously do not understand we DO work for other companies and need to route even in the city. Gas is not free.
I agree. The more Maritz turns their shops over to them, the more I will shop for other companies. I can't live like that with applications hanging for days on end. I need to get on with my life.

I much prefer getting my Maritz shops through KSS than self-assigning on Maritz, or even worse, by talking with one of Maritz's people.

I think that depends on the scheduler. Shelly is lightning fast and has held shops for me for the future. Some of the others (especially younger ones) have yet to learn that we're not their subordinate employees.

If you are have trouble finding shops on Maritz, you have probably been blocked by the team that handles that shop. The won't tell you but this has happen to me with them. If you know what team handles that client and you see it on KSS call and see if you can get it you will get the shop or conform what I am saying.

You do realize that KSS is a scheduling company and has nothing to do with the price of the shop? It's the MSC who is in control of the shop price, not KSS.

That's not my experience at all.
Not everyone needs to route every shop. I don't. When I scheduled, less than 10% of my shoppers were route shoppers.
A route can be one on the way to the grocery store. I did not mean 10 or 20.
If your gas is free and you have the luxury of not planning ahead your day you enjoy.

Plus, I think that your attitude is well known, and hence, the reason for the lack of replies to your emails.
There was a 30 mile radius rule for the shops. It was tricky as I lived in two places. If I had uncompleted shops in one place, I could not assign shops in the other place or I would lose them. KSS made it possible to shop in the other area.

I could care less if ANYONE much less you respond. I was stating a fact.
I plan ahead and save miles. You go ahead and go willy nelly on your routes. My bank account will appreciate me. and stopping for one gallon of gas at a time... yup you go do it..... My time is more valuable than $2 gas~

Cool. I'll add you to my ignore list. Congrats.
Considering I made $850 in fees in the last three days, plus all expenses paid, I'm sure you are rocking the same kinds of fees.
I could not agree with you more about KSS. I would love to know who you are working with that is paying those kinds of fees.
I had applied to do a few shops with KSS and they took a few days to give the shops to me...well they assigned a shop to me AFTER it was overdue, then they gave me a shopper citation for a "Flake" for a shop that was impossible for me to actually do....unless I had a time machine,...after trying to apply a few times to do a shop they needed done with a small bonus I was told since I flaked for a shop given to me "this month" (even though it was not even in the current month it was in a previous month) I could not do the shop or qualify for the bonus ...so i do not think the shop was even done...I have emailed Nola numerous times to remove the flake citation from my profile since it was not my fault at all....no reply at all.....ya that makes sense lets penalize a shopper for not assigning the shop until AFTER the due date.....seems like a lose/lose scenario to me....common sense doesn't seem to be so common these days.....does anyone know a manager contact at KSS that can actually reply to me by chance?? I do not think that it is logical or "right" to give a flake citation when the shop is assigned after the due date....I would just contact Maritz directly but they do not schedule shops in the area its all through KSS....I guess I will just have to do gas station shops for the 5 other companies that treat me with respect after years of providing accurate reports submitted on time...
