Maritz Gas station audit photos

Hi,

I am new to Maritz and applied for my first gas station audit. I got a call from the scheduler and i was asked to send them any photo of size(600 x 800) . I said them i will send them soon but when i looked at my mobile i did not find any option to take photos in that size. Any experienced audit shoppers who can guide me here.

If i have to buy a new electronic device, any recommendations ?

I used a photo resizing app and my test photo was accepted. I am also doing my first audit with them this week
But what after that, we will take photos and edit it(on what size they are asking for) in every shop we do.
I thought Maritz always wanted 680x420? I can resize on my iPhone by sending the photo to myself and an option for resizing comes up. But I have a Sony Cybershot 14.1 megapixels that I use just.for Maritz

Do this: Go to a resale shop (Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc). Look for a digital camera. The older ones are now being donated on a frequent basis. I've come across quite a few that in my part of the country, are being sold for under $5. Some may not have an AC adapter or battery. You can buy those on Amazon, EBay, etc for $10 to $15. You might need a chip. Easy enough to find at any convenience store.
Once you start using them, set them up for the required settings. Often, the setting is called Email setting. Make them your dedicated camera for your shop photos.

BTW, with this MSC, I recommend that you explore their website. There are tools that they offer that makes your job much easier. Don't be afraid to look and try. I'll not offer up that information. You need to do the searching yourself.

Good Luck!

This is the best way to take photos for Maritz. Set the camera at 640x480. Done. Never worry about it again.
Import 'em all in one scoop.

Unless it has changed Maritz wants 640 x 480. That is what I have been re-setting my photos to. And as I have said many times, I use PIXresizer to change the pixel size in batches. Works for me.
I think size must depend on the number of photos you have to submit. I did a gas station shop last week with only two pumps. The total number of pictures was maybe 8? Anyway I forgot all about resizing them and uploaded them and submitted. So far it's not been put on hold.
Yes, I have not had a problem giving them bigger (higher resolution) photo files. Whenever the guidelines specifically state 480X640 I comply by using my tablet. My phone won't take pictures with such a low res. However, I have sometimes used the phone for the photos and had no issue. I sometimes wonder if the 480X640 rule is a minimum rather than a maximum, to insure that you are not trying to take photos with a flip phone.
Computer graphics sized 640X480 fit the computer screen nicely, and probably enhances the quality of the final reports submitted to their clients.
Is this an issue with only one client? I've done seashore, tiger, environmental disaster, and that ugly teal one and none of them have required specific size images.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I've said this before, but I'll say it again. My camera is set at the next size up, 1024 x 768 and I've never had a problem with any Maritz reports or other MSCs. The clarity is better. If I use my phone I just resize the photos to "Medium" before emailing the pix to myself and that seems to work too.
