My experience is they are fair for the time and lenght of report, though some might think them on the low side.

I did a couple earlier this year that they bonused a decent, but not extreme amount. I felt it was right since it took two visits to the location on the same day. Luckily the locations were close.
I only do their oil change shops and those are a good value with an easy report.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
They lowered their prices for their movie theater alcohol compliance shops. It was $15 now they are $12
Try collecting the "bonus" if they don't pay in the original payment. I gave up after 4 tries and decided not work for them again.

They're ok. But they give scores of 8 on an excellent report.
They have a grocery client in my area, and I've done this shop over a dozen times. Have NEVER gotten a 10...always an 8!! I've been told that they don't consider this shop "difficult enough" to warrant a 10....what has that got to do with anything??? The report itself is clunky and awkward in many spots anyway. So, I rarely do them because they are so picky that it's frustrating to have to deal with a clunky report and end up with an 8. I only do maybe 2 or 3 a year now.....once in a blue moon I get one bonused, then it's OK!
It used to really get my goat, then I saw a commercial that said 60 is the new 40. I'm not 60 or 40 but that Trivago guy is somewhere in between there. I just think of him and consider that an 8 is a 10 for Confero and it's all better. I just love the Trivago guy!!!!!
I got a 10. Once. Then again, it was after I argued on one shop about being dinged for returning the item after two hours instead of four. I copied the instructions back to the editor that clearly said it could be returned after two hours. No score change. The next shop I did (same week, same company, different location) was when I got the 10. I figured it had to be a guilt thing. Maybe I should frame it?
Beware of Netspend shops with Confero. I loaded $20 on a card at a retail store, but unable to activate the card when I phoned in at home. Repeated attempts to Netspend and the scheduler for help has been to no avail. At least with a $13 fee, I'm only out $7.00. Lesson learned.
I used to be okay with them. They're a pretty average place, the pay is garbage but since when is that news?

I just now got a notice on one of their prepaid card shops that they won't be paying me since I wasn't able to buy the thing. It was slammed and the guy at the counter said they didn't have it, maybe to blow me off, maybe meaning they were out of stock. I also didn't see any marketing for the thing, which they ask about.

The message said the marketing material was in one of the photos I submitted, but I still had the photos. I just now looked them over. It wasn't there.

That automatically makes Confero trash, and... JanetM as well.

It seems like you don't know what you are doing. I did this project last year. The cards are easy to see. If they saw them in the photo, I suspect you are wrong.
I've always gotten fair pay and scores for their shops. They are usually out of town for me so I don't do them very often.
Hey Fastjack, post the pictures here and we will look to see if there are any pos materials in them!
I really don't care to relitigate the experience, and I was there. While a tag on the door listed about eight prepaid cards ("and many more," ) and there was one giant sign for such, none of them listed the particular brand.

I'm happy enough with my previous opinion; this company, formerly just okay, is now trash to me.

I took some of the prize shops. Not difficult, but not worth the money -- I had to burn a day waiting at home for Fed Ex because it requires a signature. So it really should pay more, especially since you have to upload pics, interact with a manager, and write narrative.

If they posted all of them at once and let you pick up a route of 20, it could make it worthwhile. For 6, not so much.

I have only completed one of the prepaid card shops with Confero, but it was an inquiry only shop. The marketing materials can be easily missed if you are not paying close attention. I did have to hang around a little bit to find them but then again the location was not at all busy. Luckily my shop and photos were accepted.
How in the world can you do 20 burger shops in one day? you have to buy the burger and if they upsell you the meal. Then go in and hand out the prize and take the drink machine photo's (if the manager lets you behind the counter) which he may not, might try to ask for your phone so he can do it himself.I just don't see how you could write 20 reports in one day especially if they require a narrative. Speaking of which-narratives--BAH Humbug! personally, I think anything under 10 or 12 dollars doesn't deserve a narrative, should be multiple choice only! and even then that would be cheap, should be a 20 dollar minimum for a narrative. The marketing companies are getting rich off of those fees they charge the clients not us.
They are, if they pay us 10% of what they charge it is incredible. Shoppers don't know or don't care.
Go back to the store, hopefully you have your receipt, and they should fix that for you!

I get an 8 every single time on mine as well. It's nice when I get it for $20 but always with the 8...

I have found Confero is picky- I got an 8 because they did not like the order of how I placed my sentences for ordering a burger (my sentence structure was not sequential enough) and used the words "pass" or "fail" instead of "successful" or "unsuccessful." Sheeeesh They do not pay well either.
I had a manager today refuse to sign the managers form. They were unsuccessful. Then he said I couldn't take pictures, that there was a sign in the door about that. This after coming to the counter and immediately telling me they weren't hiring. I guess because I had paperwork, he thought I was applying. To bad there were three signs in the entrance advertising that they were indeed hiring. I guess it was because I am a middle aged woman in a wheel chair. The scheduler still hasn't answered my email.

Pretty sure 8 is the standard score for Confero.

I got an 8 on the BK shop too. So for clarification. If a shop is done the 2nd half of Nov. get paid Jan 10?
They have a payment policy link on their login page.
