Ipsos schedulers MIA?

Haven't heard from my "normal" scheduler for their easy shop in over a week. She usually writes back quickly. Somebody is assigning, but only the normal amount ones. Anyone else being ignored, or did I forget to shower again?

Sometimes their automated emails are delayed or land in my spam folder. I find this to be the case with other companies that use the ShopMetrics platform too. You can always go to the IPSOS job board to see if anything is open though.
I just signed up with them today. I'm not understanding how the $12 fee for the hazmat scenario with 103 questions is correct. How can that be?
janalou it's not what you think. A lot of that is NA and won't even show up on your report. And get the Mobi Audit app to do your report. The shops take about 5 minutes or so and the reporting time is about 5-10 minutes, and it's so easy to do on the app. And don't forget to take a photo of your package right after you seal it up!!!!
janalou, listen to JASFLALMT. She is absolutely correct. One of the easiest ones out there even though it's long. Most of the questions are closely related and there is no narrative unless you feel the need. I love these shops. My only complaint has to do with the pain of prepping the packages. I hate wrapping stuff so my options are somewhat limited. But that's my problem.

Make sure to read insructions thoroughly and not get the 2 types mixed up. Ive messed up twice now.
Every time I see them they are always several counties over and no other shops available in the area.

Must be bad if you can smell it through cyberspace!

Easiest thing to do is to go to medium or large manila, bubble wrap lined mailers. They are on the accepted list and there is no box prep with all that folding, stuffing, labeling, and taping. Bubble mailers cost maybe $1.50 at a mail store or general store and easily accommodate the size and weight of the mail piece. The Dollar Store carries them, too. One fold and seal is it. They photograph well and you can frame them easily with just your zip codes showing before you address.

Good Luck!

There is a rotation of 18 or 20 days, I'm told, between any data collection visits to a given site, not just per field researcher, or since your last visit. It's not published anywhere, just shared by a scheduler once, so I don't know how widely it's enforced or waived. You're probably not being ignored. They just don't have everything in writing, so having to divine the deeper motives is your mystery assignment. I hate it when my telepathy isn't working. Don't you?

I have always thought aggregated data on objective compliance standards, (i.e. was the flag flying, was there a name tag, were there posters in the proper place) should not require rotation. It's not an opinion survey. It's nearly 100 percent objective, fact-based. Rotation shouldn't matter because it only shows on a feedback report as "The flag was flying 100% of the time. Clerks wore name tags 98% of the time. Clerks asked the hazmat question 100% of the time." It really doesn't matter who captured the data or how frequently. In fact, the larger the sample, and the higher the frequency, the better for research purposes. But that's the way they claim they're doing it. It could be a matter of budget and not research method or design, too. Maybe they need a budget increase for people standing in line waiting to be assigned.

Thanks for the suggestions, Researcher01. I actually have used bubble mailers, they've been my go to most of the time. I can usually get 2 for a dollar at the dollar store. But I've had a couple of instances when doing the hazmat shops where I'd tell them it was "perfume" and I could tell they didn't believe it because they can feel it through the envelope. Another time I had a "package for Mom" shop and when I told them I didn't know what it was, the clerk felt it and said it felt like rocks (it was). For the hazmat shops, I'm having trouble finding stuff to go in the envelope that's the right weight and will pass muster so I'm not discovered. For regular shops I can put whatever I want in them as long as I can mail them to myself, so I"m not as worried about them. Anyway I'm working on a solution that works for me.
