Maritz website 101 ???

Yes there are hundreds of posts about Maritiz's web site. But, as a newcomer to using it to select shops, it occurs to me that trying to consolidate some FAQs in one thread might be very helpful to many forum members. So here is my starter question.

I have been trying for 3 days to assign a platform shop near me. When I try to check the box next to it on the list version of available shops, the whole listing turns light blue. No amount of waiting and re-trying allows me to check the box to request the shop. At least, that is what I assume that little box near the shop description is for. Three calls leaving messages for the appropriate "team" have generated no response. Next step?

What you’re describing sounds normal. You click the shop you want, it changes color, then you scroll to the bottom and hit “calculate pay,” hit “agree and continue,” then select the date range from the choices it shows you, and hit “submit bundle.”
Except that it changes color before I select it. And nothing else happens no matter what else I click.

Sounds like it might be a glitch. There are many glitches on their updated web site. Try another browser to log in and see if that helps. If that doesn't work keep calling. That is the fastest way to hear back from them. Many glitches in communication as well. Unfortunately when someone calls back they may not be able to help you. Ask for a supervisor. Good luck.
I seem to be having a LOT of issues with the "new and improved" site. Right now I'm trying to submit an extension request on the site, and the "send" button doesn't seem to be live. Has anyone else had this problem? What would be the best alternative way for me to request a re-schedule of a shop?

Also, I've had two shops recently for them, and when I try to print the blank survey (as an XPS file or a PDF file and save to my hard drive, or to my printer for a hard copy), I only get the first page and part of the second page, no matter what I tried. I finally worked around it by copying the entire thing, then pasting it into a Word doc. (My internet connection has a nasty habit of dropping out frequently, and I need to have the survey on my hard drive for reference in case it's out when I review the questions prior to the shop.... )

Oh, that happened to me, too! Tried to print it out, just got the first page.

I think I switched to Chrome, and then was able to print out the survey.

I think I had to use Chrome to enter the report, too.
Thanks for starting this thread Wales and thank you all so far for the info. I signed up for them long ago, haven't done anything yet, but they have called lately. They will be on my to do list when kids go back to school. All insights help as I always caution newbies to not diverisify too much in one day with different platforms. The software learning curve is sometimes my biggest time challenge.
On my screen the boxes are white until my mouse hovers over them and then they turn light blue. If I click the little select box then it turns dark green. I concur with everyone else. I use chrome and have very few problems with the website.
On mine the select box does nada when I click on it.

It makes me feel better that I am not alone who does not easily request shops with Maritz.
Has anyone else had problems uploading photos to your shops? I had a bizarre situation this week. I did a teller shop and knew to scan the receipt as routine, since I do tons of bank shops (of course, the guidelines stated this requirement, too; no surprise). When I did the survey, there was NO place to upload the receipt photo! I looked and looked, and couldn't find any field or prompt for the photo. In fact, I just went back to my saved copy of the blank survey, and it's not there, either. I submitted the report and didn't get any flag as to the missing photo. I checked on the shop today, and it had a hold on it because of the missing photo. So I accessed the survey again, and lo and behold, there was the field for the photo upload!

I didn't originally e-mail the "help" desk because they never seem to answer inquiries. I figured if they wanted the photo, they'd ask, and they did. But I did send a help ticket afterward explaining exactly what had happened.

I wasn't using Chrome (I don't like it), but everything else loaded and showed up without any problem, and I had no other issues filling out the report.

This "new and improved site" may be new, but I have doubts as to improved. Hopefully they will work out all the glitches. Soon.

Well, I'm not crazy! I got a reply from Maritz and apparently this was a problem in their system, which they have now fixed. That's good....

I've found Martiz has the easiest interface to view, filter, and accept shops from a map.

That part has proved pretty easy, although I still prefer list view, which is also very straightforward on the Maritz site. But there seem to be many glitches aside from the search-and-assign function.

Maritz recommends Chrome, but I've experienced numerous glitches with that browser. Switching to Firefox or IE may help, but watch out for deleted photos that continue to appear in your saved report. In addition, the app and web software can take several days to be in sync.
I hope you have this resolved by now, but using List View (with Chrome on Android): first click turns it blue, second click turns it green (at which point gives the "Calculate Pay" selection at the bottom). I certainly miss their old site...
I use Chrome and it just does not work. I cannot be the only reasonably good shopper that they are missing ! grrrr
