That information cane directly from their Sassie website. I agree an email would be nice but the info is posted directly by them.

So the company was too lazy to send out an e-mail to ALL shoppers? Not all shoppers go to the Sassie website. I don't. IntelliShop must not be in a hurry to get the money back. I would have done BOTH at the time this happened. I'll wait until I hear from the directly.

There is no reason to be combative... Inteillishop screwed up and is working to fix it. I've had this happen to me before and, though annoying, is not a huge deal (unless you are in dire straights). They will process everybody's money as soon as they can. It is very possible that they do not have enough cash on hand (or available to payroll) to send out correct payments before incorrect payments are sent back to them.

If you received money, just send it back. Not doing so, at the least, will end your relationship with Intellishop. Perhaps you want to do that? That's fine. However, if you choose to do so by keeping money, you can expect them to go through a collection agency, which is certain to be more headache than just giving it back.

I'm not being combative, just logical. I don't send anything back until I hear directly from them. I don't know who put that information on Sassie. Systems do get hacked. I'm not one to just follow the crowd. They can talk to me directly and ask for their money. I've e-mailed them 4 times and they never responded. They could have just sent an e-mail to everyone telling them about any notice on Sassie, but they didn't. Maybe next time it happens, they'll have a back up plan.
Thank you so much for that. I struggled trying to find out how to issue a refund. You would think Intellishop would have given more detailed instructions.
It is possible to actually refund it. I posted a how-to and so did another shopper that leads you to an actual refund button. You just need to go through a half dozen clicks and redirects on Paypal and it's much easier if you use a laptop/desktop instead of mobile. You can go through the link I shared to cut down some steps -- or you can do the entire process but it will get you to the actual refund button where you can put in your reasons why and send their money directly back to them.

Update. I refunded them their money on day before thanksgiving. I still don't have mine that they owe me from October. They are probably collecting interest on it somewhere. This is the second time in two years they have done this payment error thing. They seriously need to review internal goings on. I have no problem with some shoppers on here making them wait. In fact making them wait until 'the next processing date' is quite funny as I read in some other response on here. This year they have been my #1 volume and $ MSC but regardless how they are handling this situation is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. They should have been delivering turkeys to screwed shoppers to make up for their mess.

That may be so, but IntelliShop should have sent out directions to each shopper by e-mail. Many shoppers are not on here or on Sassie. I'll just wait until I hear from them directly. They may have a simpler way to do this or even just credit this month's shops in advance.
I'm one of the few that actually likes them. Up until now have had no issue with them. Hope this is resolved soon

That’s a good question. If you value your relationship with Intellishops and want to continue to shop for them, I would do everything possible to return the erroneous payment.

Speaking for myself only, I deactivated the excessive emails over 2 years ago. I have done 1-2 shops for them in the last 3 years. The shop takes less than five minutes to perform and five minutes to enter. It pays $25 when I’m in the mood to do it, which is rarely.

They absolutely don’t care about the shoppers at all.

I'm with you. The only thing that is a little wonky -- schedulers don't seem to respond for days on end, or until something is severely fubar. That aside, though, the forms are straight forward, uploads are easy, pay is usually spot on and on time, and the shops they have gotten (that other companies used to have) seem to be easier to report. They're a little fewer and further between these days but I like the platform and payment schedule.

So they sent email yesterday saying that October payments were going to get sent out yesterday. Never happened.
Has anyone gotten paid by IntelliShop yet? They said they would send out payments on the 26th. I haven't received anything yet, and it's the 28th.

Yes. I received payment Monday 11/26. I sent back their mistake payment a day or two before that.

we (I) continue to work for IS because unfortunately they represent the bulk of the available work worth doing in my area. I am signed up for 30+ MSC's yet IS is the only one offering reasonably consistent work worth doing. This payment issue stinks but, as mystery shoppers we are used to being in a position of having no leverage so this is just another bump in the road.
Nothing here yet, and i returned the payment the first night they made the mistake. They're usually spot on, so I'm just going to wait it out.

I will most definitely work with them when the pay is commensurate for the time. It may not happen consistently, but certainly often enough. While I wasn't impacted by this glitch, I would weigh it against the number of times I made an error or was granted an extra extension on a report and take it in stride.

Hey..any updates..I refunded my payment when asked but have not been repaid yet...just annoying..I tend to add one or two shops for the weekend later in the week..but am hesitant to shop for them again until I'm paid..

Just to confirm..October shops should be on the November pay schedule?

Never got my payment yet either for November. I sent back the payment the same day I received the first email. Never heard any new updates.
I sent an email to help desk and it came back not deliverable. Don't know how else to contact them.

I have contacted them for the same reason. I sent a screenshot and talked to Gayle there. She said that she had forwarded the screenshot to accounting. I will have to wait and see what happens.
So, my refund was received by Intellishop. The person there (Gayle) just called me up and said that they would be sending out the payment in a few days. The problem was that I have several emails attached to my paypal and I sent the refund through a different email (not the email attached to my Intellishop account)

She said that she made sure that it shows under my name and email in the spreadsheet and they will send out October payments ASAP. Well, let's hope.

they finally delivered payment for October. A week after they made their mess. Hope they learn from this one.
