Contact schedulers that you have a good relationship with from msp's you have excellent ratings with and ask if there are any scheduler openings.
Pay is usually per scheduled, completed/reported, AND accepted by the client shop. All companies are different with their per accepted shop pay rate.
I don't know of any companies that pay their schedulers or editors per hour worked. That wouldn't make financial sense for the company.
Bottom line is this.
1. If the client doesn't accept the shop, no one gets paid.
2. Expect to work long hours and holidays and be available at all hours for shopper questions, problems, etc.
