The ICA does say "around" the 15th to the 20th, but the messages on the homepage always said that the truth is that payments will go out NO LATER than the 15th to the 20th. That message needs to no longer appear on the home page as it is a straight up lie.

I want to understand. You feel that since this is the first time MF has dispersed payments late, including notifying us accordingly, that they are lying to us?

The latest message on their homepage says next week. I do not see any messages under 'Shopper Messages' that state 15th to 20th. I have to go by what I see as the latest message, which is next week for DD.

Who would've thought I would be sticking up for MF ?

Under the January payment notes on their home page it says:

“the truth is that the payments will go out no later than the 15th-20th of each month. That is the date range you can count on and should budget for.”

That is the inconsistency I asked them to correct. In reply they referred me to their ICA which says “around” the 15th to 20th.
I saw that after going back and digging some more. Given that payments in Feb were off and now March, shoppers need to plan accordingly.

I suppose it would be asking too much for you to apologize for trying to make the poster into a jerk?
Nothing I said warrants an apology. I speak in a non-condescending and respectable manner and treat posters with respect.

Okay, who's stretching the truth here, some say they have been paid, MF says different.

I say the shoppers posting they got paid are the manufacturers of FAKE NEWS! They come here and claim they have been paid just to hear themselves talk and take great joy in subverting the general populations attempt to get a grasp on what really is going on.

Happy to help clear things up. Sorry you have such mistrust for people. Not sure what motivation there would be to lie.

Oh good lord. I already raised teenaged daughters who had far less drama.

Sorry to be snipey. Here's the thing: over the past 18 years I have been a mystery shopper, there have been plenty of MSCs who never gave any sort of payment updates. At. All. And there were a few that went belly up. No warning. I have been with them since early 2000s (back when they were called Shop-n-Check).
OK, more really not good news -- I work regularly on the phone with about a dozen Marketforce schedulers. I went right down the list today. Phone number disconnected. "No, I don't work for Marketforce any more". Number no longer available. Number has been changed; there is no new number listed.

I went right down the list today. Of the first 8 I called, I did leave two voice mails (neither of which was returned), and one scheduler was there and answered her phone.

I'm not biting my nails yet.

But I am NOT a happy camper.

I'm talking about schedulers I've been working with for YEARS, all of them recently, several as recently as they actually scheduled shops for me last week!

Have any of you called schedulers this week and been unsuccessful?
That is very concerning news. If that many schedulers have left, then I'm cautious now about taking further shops.
Statistically, my sampling is not valid. I am sure there are hundreds of schedulers working for Marketforce, and my sampling was only a dozen. I only called 8, because I finally got one who answered her phone. It's just that, on top of the other stuff, it's a little worrisome.

Taken alone, insignificant.
My direct deposit is showing up as pending in my bank account right now (I would guess as of midnight, although I just saw it a few minutes ago).

I just wanted to add also that regardless of whether or not MF does batch payrolls, the variance in the dates we receive DD payments is also dependent on our bank. My old bank posted DDs lightning-fast, and my current bank is consistently a day later than my old one. They hold my paper checks for a day too, so I guess they are just cautious LOL. The bank I used when I first started shopping was probably a couple days later than I have now. This is probably also why MF said the payments would be posted on 3/22 and would show up on/by 3/25 - for the people with slow banks.

To those who budgeted on the promised date range, I hope your payments show up very soon! It is frustrating to be depending on the payment and on the MSC keeping their word only to have it come late, especially when you kept your end of the deal when you did the shop on time, correctly, etc.

If your payment doesn't come today, you might be able to calculate when it will come based on how much of a delay there has been in the past between when it posts on their site and when you received it (i.e. maybe in January, it posted on the 10th, and you received it on the 12th...so if it posts on the 22nd this month, you might receive it on the 24th). Just a thought and something I have done in the past.

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley
My payment is in my account as of this morning.

Schedulers, regardless of MSC, have a high rate of turnover.

How is the pay sporadic? Instead of getting paid on the 15th, we get paid later in the month.

Key words, we get paid.

Yep, got paid. Emailed because some stated they had and some stated they had not. Trying to figure out if it's worth continuing to do shops for them. Pay seems to be sporadic lately.

I realize that, Honny. Sometimes I wonder which has a higher turnover rate, shoppers, schedulers, or editors, LOL!!

But it's still a shock when someone you have worked with for almost 10 years is no longer there. And then another....and another....and yet another......

My payment shows pending now.

Ceasesmith - I do find it odd that some of your regular MF schedulers are no longer there suddenly. Something to keep an eye on. I was going to sign up for a few assignments this weekend but will hold off.
It gives an amount that I will be paid on my account but it isn't in my bank account yet . Thats progress anyway.
Also it could be that since today (the 22nd) is a Friday, it won't clear the bank over the weekend.

I wonder if the word PAID does not accurately enough describe the amount of money that was deposited in my account today from Market Force. I mean, how can I call getting the $10 dollars back on March 22nd from a mystery shop I did 7 weeks ago on a burger shop getting paid. Shouldn't I call that getting my money back with a little bonus?
I got paid as well. Does anyone know if you can find a breakdown of your payments somewhere in your Marketforce account?
