They have denied me access to the site so I guess I have been dropped or they don't like that I haven't worked for them since this past November.

Market Force has always been a reliable, entry level operation that is great for people just starting out. They have simple, straight forward shops that pay reliably if not particularly well. I always recommend it to new people who claim to be interested in Mystery Shopping.

And if you can find a niche where larger bonuses and more lucrative shops are available, then even better.

After years of reliable payment I'm not going to panic after a couple of months of payments that came in a few days late. They seem aware of it, find it unacceptable and are working to fix it. It worries me a bit, but I'm not ready to set my hair on fire yet.

Shopper in California's Bay Area
In my area they are posting some hefty bonuses to get shops done.... maybe if I had gotten paid I’d help them out.
I was locked out and apparently they're locking people out who haven't picked up shops in a long time, or who have cancelled frequently as of late. I just emailed and was told I had a month to pick up a new shop for them to remain active or I would go inactive again. I picked up a drive thru shop.

Just sent the below to the Help Desk:

Okay, I'm confused. This is an extract of a reply sent to a shopper today,

'Shoppers’ Direct Deposits were supposed to have been sent to our bank yesterday for posting to your accounts today. They were not, as you sadly know.

Our management team has been investigating what went wrong. They will let us know as soon as they know what day the deposits will be made. And as soon as we know, we will post a Shopper Message on the website so please continue to check that.'

Now, if that was the case why not sent the deposits to the bank today? Unless the money wasn't there yesterday and still isn't there, why can't the deposits be made today?

Wonder if I will get a response

You don't they post something like that on the site. They are aware that everyone is concerned.
This is the reply I received from the earlier email sent. Kind of looks familiar doesn't it. I would say one email for all.

We owe you an apology…..and some money! Shoppers’ Direct Deposits were supposed to have been sent to our bank yesterday for posting to your accounts today. They were not, as you sadly know.

Our management team has been investigating what went wrong. They will let us know as soon as they know what day the deposits will be made. And as soon as we know, we will post a Shopper Message on the website so please continue to check that.

We are hopeful we will have a date for you before the close of business today; however, if not, our Supervisor will be monitoring the communications all weekend in order to get the word out to all of you.

We cannot apologize enough because these monthly issues should not keep occurring and please know that we are working very hard to get back to the consistently issued payments that a lot of you know to be one of our hallmarks going back for years. We will get back there and we appreciate you sticking with us!

Needless to say they didn't answer the questions of if the money was there yesterday, why couldn't it be deposited today unless the money isn't there.

And when she gets off work and gets home and settled she will email me the link shoppingfool. However, indications from emails today from MF are leaning that way.

Got this a few hours ago:

****HOWEVER, companies often wait til the last bloody end before owning up that you are not going to get paid. Remember the pizza shops for NSS? I got ripped off for about $300******

We have not been notified about any financial issues and we apologize for the payment issues. Shoppers’ Direct Deposits were supposed to have been sent to our bank yesterday for posting to your accounts today. They were not, as you sadly know.

Our management team has been investigating what went wrong. They will let us know as soon as they know what day the direct deposits will be sent and checks will be mailed. And as soon as we know, we will post a Shopper Message on the website so please continue to check that.

This is the response received:

We have told you all we know at this point. Sometimes banking issues aren’t as simple as some people try to reduce them to. If you recall, in January, our payments to our Canadian shoppers were late and that was due to a change in the banking laws of Canada and we had to make the changes necessary to be in compliance. It had absolutely nothing to do with ‘money being in the account’ because it was there, our Canadian bank just could not process it. We are also a multi-national corporation and that has its own unique issues in dealing with money transfers from country to country.

Please don’t incite more stress among people!

We are working diligently to get this resolved and to get everyone’s money in their accounts and we will notify everyone, via Shopper Message on the website, as soon as we have a date.

You know you are right shoppingfool. I'm sure your money will be in your account tomorrow. You certainly need to sign up for as many shops as you can handle because I know that you know they will pay you eventually.
In the past I have been allowed to shop two lunches the same day as long as there was at least two hours between them. I would check with the help desk before doing this as their policy may chsnge.

Yet, a scheduler begged me 2 days ago to do 2 of the same dinner shops back to back. When I asked if that was allowed he said sure. I declined thinking at least one would be invalidated. I made the right choice I see.

I am sure my money wont be in my account tomorrow. Maybe thats why i am a fool cause i choose to give a company that has paid me early for 5 years the benefit of a doubt.

I have direct deposit with MF and usually money is in bank between 15th and 20th. Today is June 21st and no payment. Wonder what's up? I still like the company very much and they are great to work with. Never had a late payment before in over 18 months of shopping for them.

My last posting seems totally off topic. Sorry!

I too hope that Marketforce can fix whatever issues are plaguing their payments system.
As I originally posted it was second hand information from the ajc. I have stated that I would post the link once she emailed it to me. She does work and doesn't have the luxury to just email from work. However, some of you, and I won't go as far to mention you in the thread want to accuse me of spreading false information. Tell you what, find the link on your own. No I haven't been axed from MF and have been shopping for them for years more than most on the thread. However, I suspect some on the thread are actual employees of MF, but that doesn't bother me. I will make my decisions based on information I have and adjust accordingly. If you get burned, you get burned.

Go ahead and use my name. And that is a convenient way to get out of posting a link that does not exist. I have looked for the link for 2 days and there is no link. And by the way if your"friend" does sent a link and it is legimate. I will be the first to apologize. Would you apologize to MFI for spreading false information????

I think if anyone posting in this thread was a MF employee (which I suspect they are far to busy tending to MF business to be wasting time posting in this thread) that they would identify themselves. Nearly all other MSC reps who post in the forum either have their name as their forum username or they have a signature line, and if they don't, they quickly learn to get a siggy line after being gently informed that it's improper for them not to identify themselves when posting in the forum.
