Yes. They say something is "preventing" payments being processed. But they are hoping to "begin" processing early next week.

Yeah, as in they haven’t even started the payment process! There seems to be some dishonesty here. MF emailed some shoppers saying we were supposed to be paid on the 20th and now they are saying the payment process hasn't even begun. This is very concerning. I need that money. I wonder should I do the rest of my June shops?

All were on I40 in the middle of nowhere in the Southwest. The reason they were well paying is specifically because they were in the middle of nowhere. 1 was between Flagstaff and New Mexico, 3 were in New Mexico, and 2 were between Amarillo and OK. Two paid $20, the other 4 all paid $30. Unfortunately 2 were closed so the fee dropped to $15. The ones that were open reimbursed $5.

I have a friend who worked at a fast food place. He said they know who the mystery shoppers are, because they only order 3 items. The call goes out, "3 item order, mystery shopper" Many times the guidelines to the shop give you away as a mystery shopper.

When you mention both the MSC and the client. It is in the agreement that we sign that we are not allowed to mention both.
I'm sure the MSC don't mind you telling others where you shop for them. They want more shoppers. The MSC's don't want you sharing REPORTS with other MSC's.

I think you are wrong. I believe a MSC doesn’t want shoppers to reveal its clients as other MSC’s can see this and then approach the client in an attempt to switch companies. Why do think they put this non disclosure statement in their ICA? I also think that not revealing clients of MSC’s on public forums protects my business. I have worked hard to find certain clients and I don’t want to reveal this to my competition. You may think this is selfish but I think it’s a good business practice in a highly competitive market.

I'm sure companies switch MSC's anyway. That's why you see the same shop, offered by another MSC for a lower pay.

Have you looked at the MSPA site? Many of the MSC's have a list of companies they do mystery shops for.
Why can't people who are supposed to be professional just follow the rules they agreed to. If you don't like the rules don't sign the ICA and don't shop for the company. Just because no one gets fired for breaking the ICA does not make it moral to agree to not disclose clients and then disclose them.
