JM Ridgway Issue-How to tell what payment is for

I've read enough to dread dealing with Frank but I ran into a hiccup and had to send him an email. I performed three tax shops on the same day with the same pay for each last month. I was paid for one of them this month but the paypal info doesn't distinguish which job and the JM Ridgway site doesn't show any of the three as "Paid". I asked for which of the three the pay was for so I could note it in my books and received this response.

"Re-read your shopper agreement/overview for all the answer you seek. If you keep track of your shops as it tells you, it is easy to figure out what you get paid for. Thank you"

I don't seem to have a copy of my shopper agreement and can't find it on their site. Does anyone have a copy or know where to find it. To be clear I do keep meticulous records on my jobs which is why I need to know which of the three was paid.

Edited: OK so no response to where the shopper agreement/overview is. How about how do you tell what job a paypal payment is for? Anyone?

Wow. If the details on the PayPal site aren't enough, I suppose you have 1 in 3 chances of figuring it out.

I really, REALLY dislike the response you got from the company!
There was a shop in my area for a storage facility. It said that in order to read the guidelines, accept the shop first. Well, I don't feel comfortable unless I can SEE the guidelines FIRST, BEFORE accepting the shop, so I know what I'm getting into, to make sure it's a good fit for me. I've asked different schedulers in the past, a good 6 or 7 times in the past year alone, if they can forward unseen guidelines to me before I decide whether or not to accept a shop, and they all have done so, no problem. But not Frank. I asked him if I could see the guidelines first, to see if I'd be a good fit for this shop. He emailed me back and said just to accept the shop, and after reading the guidelines, if I didn't want to do it, cancel the shop ASAP. Well, I suppose that is one way to find out, but it's not how I choose to make up my mind, so I just tossed that one aside.
The storage facility shops are super easy for the $20 it pays. You won't have a problem with them at all.
The storage shops have a one-year rotation, I never do them without a bonus. I do agree they, and all the jobs I've done for the MSC, are easy. Nikki is always helpful and a joy to work with. This was my first interaction with Frank. His reputation preceded him and he did not disappoint. I respectfully wrote back but received no response. Thankfully the other two jobs were posted on PayPal yesterday so I can update my records.

Okay so I was looking for information about when they pay, and I ran across this:
3) How do I get paid?
Deposits are made to your Paypal account between the 30th day and the 45th day after completion of a shop. For example, if you completed your shop(s) on June 15, your payment will be deposited on or before July 30th. All shoppers are paid in order of shop date. Keep track of your shops by shop date so that you easily reconcile payments versus your shop(s). DO NOT GO BY YOUR SHOP LOG FOR PAYMENT DATE. You may refer back to the compensation section of the overview for reasons why not to do this.

There is no earthly way to know which shop you got paid for if you did 3 on the same day as far as I can tell.

Just a quick question about these: do they involve renting one and then cancelling it off the credit card? Or is there any other financial transaction done that has to be reversed??? It doesn't say either way in the simple description on Sassie.
No you don't have to rent one. There is no financial transaction at all. It's a straightforward mystery shop to assess the sales performance of the staff. You just get a business card.

It took 5-20 minutes onsite (some agents don't ask if you want to see the units and if they don't offer you don't ask) and 15 minutes for the report. Like CQ said, no credit card, no purchase. Just get a business card.
Thanks, I looked all over for this info and didn't see it. Their system seems dysfunctional to me. If the MSC makes a mistake and you've done multiple shops paying the same (even not on the same date) there is really no way to tell where the problem is. If one completed shop is held up because of further questions/ clarifications needed by the contracting company are all payments for other job's completed after that job put on hold? It sounds like they are.

I had one shop that needed clarification (business card image was too small) but it was addressed the same day, well before payroll was due to occur.
Thanks, CQ and JAS! Maybe next time I see one in my area, I'll try it! I don't know why that detail can't be listed in the description. It's really all I wanted to know before making a decision. You guys rock!
The scheduler Teresa is sweet as pie. Frank is a little stiffnecked. The shpps likely will pop up again next month.
Frank is a moron and is very hostile. God forbid you make a mistake and no payment!
The storage shop I did for the MSC was about the easiest storage shop I have done for any MSC. The fee paid was fair.

Well, the storage shops are up for May, and there is one less than 5 miles from me, so, based on how several of you have said they are easy, I signed up for one. We'll see how it goes!

Well....I did my storage shop with JMR yesterday. It went really quick! I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, even with a tour of the site and looking at an available storage area! I did my best writing up the report, so now it's just a wait and see!! Thanks for the encouragement!
So now that I did the storage shop on the 8th of May, it still says "Received" in the Shopper Log. Anyone have any idea if a "review" is given to the shopper, and how long it takes??? Just wondering if it's been reviewed and accepted, and whether or not there is an evaluation comment like on most other Sassie reports. TIA!
Mine always stays "received". Some shops don't even get a Paid note in the log once paid. I get a notice from PayPal saying money has been deposited from them. That was part of the reason for the original question.

Thanks, wwin, for that info. Guess I'll just have to expect payment and look in Paypal as the expected date gets closer. So, you never see a grade or anything for your shops???
1) PayPal always sends out a notice that funds are being sent to you. 2) I don't think that I have ever received a grade from JM Ridgeway. I assume that if I am paid, that they are happy. I certainly am.

Thanks! That'll work for me, too!
Why does this company put up with Frank? He must be a very short man to be this hostile. He seriously needs to be fired. Shame on this company for putting up with his unprofessional behavior. My story is similar with this jerk. He was rude and nasty and TOTALLY in the wrong.
