Confero Theater Age Compliance

Hello,

Has anyone done the age compliance movie theater shops for Confero? This is the shop where you go in to the theater (atrium presumably) and try to purchase alcohol if you are under a certain age, which is 38 I think. I have not done one of these yet. I emailed the scheduler with a few questions and have not heard back. I wanted to know if you are required to watch the movie you bought the ticket for, and if it is permissible to consume the beverage if you are indeed able to purchase it. I have read the guidelines three times and neither one of those questions are answered in the guidelines. I have no desire to sit through a movie, these shops had a nice bonus on them, that is why I picked them up.

Thanks!

No there is no requirement to sit through the movie on this alcohol movie shop. However I would not take it if I did not which to see a movie as it is part of perks of the shop which someone else could benefit from. I don't see why you would not be allowed to drink the alcohol if allowed to purchase. I do know they require a soda purchase if the alcohol purchase is denied. You are allowed to drink the soda.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
No, you are not required to watch the movie.

Yes you can drink the alcohol. I've been doing the shops monthly for a few years now and was only sold alcohol once.
I suppose you don't have to stay for the movie, but leaving would look suspicious as all get out and we're not supposed to do things that would get us made, so I would suggest staying.

Theoretically I guess you could drink any alcohol you get, but I've never been sold any when I did the shop right.
There have been times where a scheduler is begging to get one of these done and I just don't have time to sit through a movie. Usually I just go in the theater for a few minutes and then come out looking like I'm mad and talking on my phone as I leave. If anyone is looking at me, I feel like I look enough like there was an emergency and I had to leave that it won't out me. Also, some theaters have doors at the end of the hall of theaters that are unattended so you can easily walk out those without anyone noticing.
All those compliance shops say 21-32. The weird part is that when you go in the theater it says anyone under 40 will be asked for an ID and NO ONE will be sold to without an ID - so why the age limit in the shops?

More or less to double check everyone is complying with the rules. Its dumb but easy money if you are old enough and look young enough.
They wouldn't really know whether or not you stay for the movie. I don't think it would be awkward to just leave. But I always choose a movie I am interested in. Don't get your hopes up though. I have done this shop a million times and never once was able to get alcohol. I always had to get the soda.
I have done these, I have been served several times. Yes, you can drink it. Depends on if your theater is dine in,you have to stay long enough to order and pay inside the theater.
