Marketforce payment

This (not being paid on time) is getting old.

We used to get paid early. I rarely do enough for them for it to matter much.
Who are you addressing, me? I don't do enough shops for them because they don't have much that pays well enough for me to bother.

Why? What have you heard?

My info is the same as Isaiah's. I'm guessing he's referring to:

On the home page:

"Shopper Payments for August Shops
September 17, 2019
ACH files are being sent to our bank today for Direct Deposits. If you are signed up for Direct Deposit, you should see the payment in your account by Thursday. Some banks/credit unions may be late posters so please allot an extra day for that in the event you do not see your deposit on Thursday. Checks will be processed on September 20th."
My payment, in full, for August shops hit my bank this afternoon.

I just a notification as I was reading this that mine hit. Before the 20th as always.

I have not seen anything for payments for August.
I also received my payment for shops completed in August but oddly it does not show on the payment details (payment history) at the MF website. The payment is off by a few cents but I can’t review the reason why.
My payment for August shops was in my bank this morning.
The EFT for the August shops appeared in my bank account as pending. That is normal SOP. It will move from pending to an actual deposit overnight tonight.

My payment for August shops was in my bank this morning, although the payment information is not showing up yet on the MF website.
I got paid but some people may not have been paid yet. This message is on the shopper page now:

Shopper Payments - UPDATE
September 19, 2019
We need to let you know that there was a snafu with the bank on Tuesday when the ACH file was uploaded. The file was re-sent yesterday and went through the bank just fine. That means that Shoppers will see their payment in their accounts tomorrow (Friday). Again, with the slower-posting banks/credit unions, you may not see the deposit in your account until the weekend or Monday.

We apologize for this 1-day delay which we can appreciate is very frustrating when you are waiting for your money.
I wonder if they put any thought into the meaning of that acronym before using it, lol!!!!
Bank or Market Force, one wonders who had the snafu. Did the bank process the payments from Market Force too soon?
Very few people even know that it is an acronym. In the medical profession Fubar is a popular expression/acronym.

Yes, I have heard FUBAR used more than once in my lifetime. I mean, not on any of the medical reports I had to transcribe or anything when working at the hospital, but I am sure it was used in conversations I overheard from time to time. I think I actually first heard it when I was pretty young, late teens? Not from anyone working in a hospital, though. Maybe my dad or my brothers, can't remember. But I have always known it was an acronym.
Fubar is a military acronym, roots are ftom WWII. I am not sure how it applies to being paid late 2x though.

MF put an announcement on their site that payments were delayed due to a snafu. The message is quoted above. Someone commented on the meaning of snafu, and I added fubar as a "connected" acronym.

Those of you who get paid by check, did you receive a check for August shops? I have not been paid yet and it's October.

Edit- I received a check in the mail today.

I have not been paid for August shops, either.

Edit to add: I, too, received my check in today's mail.

I agree with Myst; connected is an excellent description of the relationship between SNAFU and FUBAR, as the acronyms share FU's. In addition, while the situation is most likely temporary, it, most certainly, could become far too applicable.
Did anyone notice, the burger shops that reimburse $7.80 and used to pay $5 now pay $4.50? That's a change just this month, I think.
They've always started at $4.50. I have no idea who would do it for that, but that's how it's always been, at least in my area.

Interesting. I wonder if it is regional? The ones here have been $5 for a least a couple of years with the $7.80 reimbursement. Last month they were all $5 until mid-month when they went up to $7 and then the last week, of course, they had Make an Offer.I know several other shoppers here and a couple of us made offers and the offers accepted were all for $10 or less.
Did anyone else have problems entering reports tonight? Took me 2 hours for 3 shops!
