Marketforce payment

I think (and I could be wrong, I am approximately 1793 times a day) that the point was the issues may be fixed for future payments with a new CFO.

Meanwhile, I'm shopping my flat little rear off between now and Sunday at all those nicely bonused shops some of the shoppers cancelled!!!

If the shoppers who cancelled those shops are wrong they are out nothing except the opportunity to make a little income. If those same shoppers are right then the consequences for you could be grim. You will be out your time doing the shops and the money and the wear and tear on your car and worst yet the pain of chasing down your money. I have not got my 400 yet. While the fact that many here and no doubt thousands of people have not been paid does not seem to worry you or make you afraid, it should. Be careful now.

Actually- no.

I just copy/pasted that press release because it was another point of contact at Market Force to chase payment, if it comes to that.

MF emails for c-suite level execs are eluding me.

For example, I’ve been able to find out that one exec lives in a $389K 4BR/3BA Home, drives a 2012 Mercedes, has a MBA from an online for-profit university, and donated to HRC in 2016. But I cannot locate that exec’s MF office email or phone extension.

Hopefully someone else is more adept at web sleuthing than I am...
My May shops show as paid, as of June 26 on the MF site, but the money is not in my account. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was scheduled to do shops on the 28th and 29th, but postponed them until next month. I am still receiving the "premium" shop offers in my email, but have not received the usual phone calls for last minute shops in my area.

And this is relevant why?
Why is that relevant to you?

I love it when people show they can explore the endless boundaries of the internet only to show absolutely nothing useful.

My May money is in my account, but short by 25%.

Her point was all of that info was easy to find BUT actual business contact information is a secret.

My May deposit is in my account as of this morning. I wonder what they will do with that partial payment for a few June shops that they sent a few days ago. Somehow withdraw it?
Money is pending but available in my account this morning.

I received my $400 dollars they owed me in my account this morning. You don't get many do overs in life but I just got one. My plan is to remain on strike from Market Force until I get the 300 they owe me for June mystery shops.

I am guessing that Market Force is in the middle of a severe financial crisis and may have just came close to melting down. The fact that they just got a new financial officer does not comfort me at all. It does not matter how smart the new CFO is if come June 15th they need to pay out 3 million dollars to the mystery shoppers and all they have is 1 million in the bank. About the only way a new CFO could fix this now would be for him to get an investment company or bank to loan Market Force a bunch of money to get caught up. Who wants to lend a company that can not afford to pay its bills is the problem in a nutshell?
They are not able to withdraw money from our accounts. If they've got their ducks in a row, the amount paid for June shops will not include payment already made.

Thankfully my May money was in my bank this morning. Hope everyone gets all their money soon.
Another voice in the chorus: My May payment was received this morning by direct deposit.

Did you go to your pay history and click on the amount? It will show you the details of the payment by each shop.

I received payment today for the full amount expected for my May shops. They also reversed the odd amount that was posted 2 days ago.

How were they able to reverse the small incorrect payment for june shops that shouldn't have been paid? I got over $60. Its just sitting in my account waiting for them to take it back...

Received my pay, but Im still worried. Will this be happening again next month?

This is also my concern. I had already signed up for about 10 July shops bf all this happened last week. They owe me $700 for June shops. I thought maybe I can extend those July shop dates until after I get paid - but that probably won’t. I’m only going to do $200 for them this month - none with reimbursements.

Once it is deposited they can not reverse it. That is not legal. They will just have to not include it in your July payment. That is the only thing they can do.
Per federal banking regulations they absolutely can reverse an incorrect ACH deposit. Some state laws may override that but for most of us they absolutely can.

I got paid for May shops today. I've been with this company for over ten years and have never had a pay issue, never had bad service, and never had a shop rejected. Yes, this payment was late; yes, it was frustrating, but I'm not going to throw the company under the bus over one incident. If this becomes a pattern; different story, but until then I'll stick with them. I have a full complement of July shops and I will complete them all to the best of my ability. I owe them that.
I still haven't received payment for May shops. In Canada it will be a holiday weekend so I will probably not get paid until after July 1.
If they've been without a CFO since last fall, I can see where that could lead to problems.
The information IS useful. Let me tell you why. Number one: It tells me that MF processes payroll each month for 380,000 shoppers. There is no way one person can handle that kind of volume. The purposes of telling us that the executive is well off is to let us know that MF can afford to pay a man of that caliber.
I stick by my original statement that given the money that MF makes a year $75 mil or whatever it was they can afford to have better agent support services and payroll services. In situations like this agents need reassurance, even if they can't be paid that day or the next day. Send out a memo stating "we are changing payroll software" , "computer error the payroll was not processed in a timely manner, blah, blah, blah", "transitioning to a new invoicing system" etc "we expect the payroll to be about two weeks late" this kind of simple communication tool would prevent half of the erroneous accusations, and probably half of the messages to support, etc. Each geographical division should have an agent liaison team to set up to communicate with IC's, etc. IF I owned a $75 mil company I would want my agents to keep working and I would not want miscellaneous rumors floating around. But hey that's just my perspective, I'm just an IC, not a CFO.
