With interest rates at 0%, nobody is earning anything from the float. Close attention to detail and stringent standards are good things for a mystery shopper. Flexibility is also called for because there are many shopping companies where you will experience this same "problem" with payment. You're kind of cutting off your nose to spite your face if you don't shop for them any more. Bare says approximately the 16th, and I would call the 19th as fitting within that statement. You will have many future disappointments with payments if you can't get past this.

Bare is among my go-to-MSC. I like the schedulers and editors and I have always received my payment
as per agreement. This MSC has always been consistently fair. I don't mind receiving the check instead
of DD if their system cannot process it for me because I am not in the USA. As a shopper, I've learned to
adjust and go with the flow if I have a symbiotic relationship with the MSC.
I agree with cookie. There is a legal requirement for employers to pay the business day before a weekend or holiday. For example, if the 15th is a Saturday, then pay day is Friday, the 14th. The opposite is true for bill statements. If the mortgage is due on the 15th, and for this month, the 15th is a Saturday, then the payment is due on Monday, the 17th. It is not late until the 17th, and penalties could not be charged until the payment is not received past the 17th.
You just provided the argument for why we can be paid after and not before. We are not employees so we fall under the category of a vendor bill.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

We don't have "paydays". They can pay us any day they want. Hence all the different payment schedules.

Amazing! You are ALL arguing in favor of the MSC's taking advantage of us. Not only do they pay us low, low pays, they also stretch the time of payment.
What do you mean us? How can one business (the MSC) take advantage of another business (you) without you allowing them? They certainly don't pay me low fees, because I don't accept assignments where the fee is not commensurate with my time and effort. It would be to your benefit to stop thinking like an employee and start thinking like a business owner.

As a kinda/sorta newbie I have to say that Bare International is in the top 5 of mystery shopping companies that I have encountered. Their schedulers are easy-to-contact (when there are conflicts of any type), responsive and are sympathetic when issues arise that are beyond anyone's control. There is also very little time lag with Bare between when a shopper "applies" for an assignment and when that assignment becomes a reality unlike other MSCs who are notorious for not being timely in that regard which, to me, is not an acceptable practice as we shoppers need to schedule our days. Additionally to those who have been dissing Bare in regard to Scenario C issues for one of their continual projects...my suggestion is to read the Comments and Guidelines sections of their assignments because the requirements are laid out in easy-to-read/understand language. These shops are relatively easy to complete and the report is not difficult nor is it time-consuming.. Their editors can be somewhat picky but that is certainly their right. Bare International seems to be heads-and-shoulders above the rest in regard to their degree of professionalism and the respect that they give to us shoppers. And...nope, I do not work for Bare International.
Just saw a shop eligible for instant self assignment but Sassie will not let me assign it. Also there is no way to even request it. I sent an email to scheduler shown on email.

Who was "dissing" Bare about scenario C ?

I did ask around to see where people were finding the boxes as a search of 6 locations that sell boxes turned up
only 1 result - the biggest size and therefore the highest expenditure. The scheduler brushed it off and said it was "odd" that I couldn't find them, but apparently it is an issue with many shoppers across the country.

I also like Bare and I think they offer a decent rate for the work required and they always have jobs on the board so they are
definitely a "go to" company for many of us. I have never had a problem with a scheduler, and they can be very helpful and accommodating. They are in my top 5.

I have decided to just stick with the A and B (and D apparently is now the same as A ....) where I know if I schedule it I won't
have an issue completing because the materials are not available.
