At least she hasn't posted new assignments to trick other shoppers into working for free and spending out of pocket.
Ok. I am not sure if I should lower my blood pressure and just forget about the money owed (it was 100 reimbursement for food and 70 fee). My husband is out for the same amount too, so 340.00 for our family. How much are you all out? ( I was burned by Freeman too for 5 figures).

Oops, changed to 5 figures,
Still, that's terrible. Hopefully, you enjoyed the experiences?

Unfortunately, I have tried several options, and the criteria required to qualify does not match the small mystery shopping business model.

If the SBA can provide emergency money for individual little shoppers like me, they can provide emergency funding for individual businesses like hers.

She can get an emergency $10,000 advance on a PPP loan to pay her business expenses. She only needs a minimum 620-640 FICO score to be approved, and show she has been in business since January.

That she has not done so yet (from what she has indicated) and is now claiming her business model isnt set up for the emergency loans is disingenuous--unless her business model is based on denying shoppers prompt payment for services rendered.

I know of another very small MSC that did get the PPP Loan.

She's a liar. Nobody is going to get paid.
Anyone want to send her an email saying we're going to class action lawsuit her next
Still mystery shopping and traveling so yeah, it was an expensive lesson but a life changer for sure,
Anng123, you'll get the last of the change she can scrape up from the bottom of her purse in November so, unless a coin gets stuck in the seam, there won't be anything left for the rest of us!
I am going to take a wild guess here and say maybe her score actually falls below the minimum requirement? It truly sucks not to get paid, been there myself, but on the other side of the coin, it has to be tough for a small business owner to watch their fall from grace along with their business/livelihood. Just saying. We are all human beings.
Any tax savvy people here? How do you add non-payment and/or non-reimbursement as a business expense on your schedule C? I don't expect to see the fee or reimbursement but this is a business expense.
I was told I couldn’t claim it. That didn’t sound right to me so I got a second opinion and was again told the same thing.
I claimed the smallish amount that NSS owed me a few years ago. I am not sure but I think my tax guy just added it in as an expense on my Schedule C. Perhaps it was just my cost and not the missed fees. I don't remember.

Same for me with NSS.

For G3, I think that I deducted the cost of purchase (QSR x 50+ locations) and mileage etc was already accounted for on the schedule C. It was over 10 years ago.

As I stated earlier in the thread, you can get a judgement, but collecting it is another story. You can sell the judgement to a collections agency for around 50 cents on the dollar.

Based on her Facebook account, she doesn't look like the type of person who has any wealth whatsoever.
