Maritz Pay Check

They pay us like this because we are independent contractors it is as in the IRS will not come down on them if they mess up the pay. If you are an employee you have to get paid at least twice a month, as an IC it is so sad too bad I did not get the check to you in time. As for the complaint about cushion funds that can go either way. Currently, my cushion went away due to needing brakes at $1400. 4 rotors, pads on all wheels, and 2 calipers.
That is usually a month's income between SSI and a separate disability check. My wife gives ma grief about the sometimes small pay for the jobs but it does add up. Although I think I will have to forego the burger shops every day. Maybe once a week from now own.

Doesn’t Maritz pay today? They owe me $250 for shops I did for the first time and I did invoice each one and I see nothing in direct deposit not is it on my account showing deposit pending??

I thought today was pay day from them, too...I am owed nearly $500....

I show a payment applied today both on the maritz website and in my bank account.

Now it shows $100 of the $250 I am owed pending in direct deposit but not in my bank account. I’m completely confused. All 5 shops were done by the 30th therefore I should have been paid today so I’m lost and no one to call or speak to

Since this is your first time with Maritz payments, I have to ask the stupid question: did you submit invoices after your assignments?

Yes I did

Question is when did you submit your invoices? If you submitted after they processed the payroll you may not get paid until the next pay period. Relax. Call Janet on Team 9, Admin. If you are transferred to Team 1 leave a message. She will be able to explain when each invoice will be paid.1-800-782-4299.

So......……..the next question is.....with the next holiday of Thanksgiving, what day is payday at the end of this month (November). Is it the 27th, 28th, 29th?

.Technically, it's the 29th. But I wouldn't count on it being there until December 2nd.

I'm sure I'll get blow back from this but I find Both Maritz and Ipsos two of the most dependable and reliable MSC's as far as payments. I have a separate checking account for mystery shopping and have reached the stage where there is always money in it. And I don't muddy up the waters by using auto-payments hoping the income comes before the outgo. My business is part time but profitable.

The rest will come in the next direct deposit. They were quite slow in editing and submitting the big box store project shops and I only got half of my pay which i am positive is because the other shops didn't get finalized quickly enough. Everything is fine. Just because you submitted them before the 30th doesn't mean they got them edited in time for this pay period.
