That's my guess is that they are done. possibly another mytsery shopping company has put a bid in to do these stations at a lower price. Entirely possible, seen it happen before.

Debbie can only tell us what she is allowed to say which is very limited I am sure.

I was just wondering how they can receive and answer emails.

I'm out $25. Not a big deal but a waste of time either way. I feel for the shoppers who invested more in this project. The project and website were sort of a relic anyway. The form was so outdated it was still asking about CD's, and cassette tapes. It doesn't seem like the program has been updated for a very long time.

Seeing how "the client" is always mentioned as being most important to serve, I can't imagine "the client" being very happy with the service they are receiving right now. My client would probably let me go at this point and look elsewhere. I really hate to say and/or think the worst and I am surprised that calls and emails are still being answered. I would like to hope that means something however, they definitely were not proactive in keeping anyone out here updated. And it isn't looking good.

Not sure what's going on but Alta 360 seems to have a good deal of diff gas station shops
I just called Stericycle. The phone goes straight to voice mail. That's all I have..
Certainly not looking good. I'm not really expecting them to pick back up. I'm happy that I'm only out ten bucks. A much better feeling than when NSS went belly up and they owed me like $400. But I did average about $100 per month income from Stericycle, so I'll be looking for ways to replace that lost income with other MSCs.

This is my concern too, they were a reliable monthly shop for me when I was otherwise slow. I really hope the client resurfaces somewhere else. I'm out $11 for the 11 shops I never got to report, as in all honesty I would have had to buy non-reimbursed gas to get to my next destination. I'm surprised that Stericycle would go out like this, if that is the case, and I have to wonder if even Debbie knew.

Hopefully it all comes back, but it's been two weeks now and the writing is on the wall.

Hi Dapper... I received an email from Debbie regarding the server issue. I'll post it separately. Just a heads up for this Forum. We cannot mention the Client and the MSC in the same thread. You will need to remove the client. WELCOME!
From Debbie at 4:06 today.
Hello,

We have been told sometime this week, my fingers are crossed…

Good news if for nothing else that she is responding like that. I feel for the position she is in right now.
A mass email cannot be sent if the server is down and they can't access contact info for shoppers......
A mass email cannot be sent if they cannot log into the site either to access shopper contact info
Their website seemed so antiquated to me for quite a while. My husband has been asking me for a year if they sold the Apl** stores why would you still need to mystery shop. it had been in the news the gas company wanted to get out of retail and just sell wholesale. He could never understand why it took this long!
This company is absolutely huge and world wide. Just the medical waste that it has contracts for I can't imagine them not being able to get through or some server nonsense or service provider nonsense. This is a financially devastating loss for me as they in 11 years were the best company I have ever worked for. My income was substantial and I cannot make it up with other companies or buying pretzels. I am hoping they are renegotiating the contract with the gas company. Only time will tell. Out of business as in the mystery shopping end they should still honor the money they owe their shoppers.

Luckily a week prior to Christmas I was busy with my husband's online business. I too have worked for them since 2010. I hope they are not out of the mystery shopping business as I too made substantial money from the job they have. I do hope their site comes back up but it is very discouraging after all this time. It makes you wonder what is going on. Has anyone talked to Debbie today?
My friend just got laid off from..Stericycle... the mystery shopping program may of went under.....
This whole thread blows my mind. I used to do a lot of gas stations for this company, but it was 15 years ago. They reimbursed $1.00 for gas. Fees were in the single digits. Did this change? I thought that they were cheap 15 years ago and had already gone out of business. Nobody on this thread is from California as far as I can tell.
They're still cheap. However, they gradually raise fees near the end of the month. The stations generally go for ~$14 occasionally rising to $30. They're decent route filler and you can count on them coming back every month. The shop is easy only three photos you can quickly enter some jargon into the writing portion. Nobody ever cared because the program seemed more or less of a joke. Seems like it only exists so they have it on paper. Maybe the client forgot the program existed. I don't think anyone actually reads the observations because I've never seen anything change and most of the franchisees are entirely unaware of it.

Your take on the situation mirrors mine. I'm sad to see the program go, but I also never understood is pertinence.
Yeah the website was antiquated and the shop seemed to have nothing to do with the actual businesses. New locations have been popping up around here for over a year but never got added to the shopped locations. I wondered when they would bite the dust and it seems it's happened. I am only out $22 but I feel for all the people who are owed a lot more. Crossing my fingers that you all get paid and find replacement shops.
Wow am I sad about all of this. My biggest take on one shop was $60. Apparently the shop hadn't been done in months and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time....on a vacation in that area. I often wonder how to find out what other companies do gas stations. I am new here and a bit confused about what is allowed to be said in the forums but if anyone can enlighten me on where I can look next I'd be grateful.
If you sign up with the top 15 companies on the "Official list of mystery shopping companies" (scroll down to the bottom of this page) you will find most of them.

Hi, Meb...
While we cannot mention the names of other Mystery Shopping Companies due to the client having already been named, you can scroll down this page to the list of Official Mystery Shopping Companies and check them out. Oh how I hear you about the shops that were $60 and more. I'm in a rural area. I do have competition every now and then. Where are you located? You don't have to be specific. Your State or region is ok, too. Also, there is a list of posting guidelines just below these posts. Welcome!
