I wish California would have stricter rules. We have orders where I live but they are barely enforced. They have been cracking down on "non essential businesses" that have stayed open but so far in Los Angeles that is the only thing they are cracking down on. They are not stopping anyone to ask where they are going. Construction of all sorts is still allowed. I would be able to go out and stay out all day long as long as I was not at the beach or at a few hiking trails, visiting as many stores as i could find and no one would say a word. Fortunately most people are pretty good about the voluntary orders but I was horrified when i went to the grocery store the other day and saw the shoppers...almost all of them were just shopping their normal way, passing by people within a few inches, not waiting for someone to move before they did etc. I left the place as soon as I got my eggs and milk.
My brother in France is allowed to go outside just once for an hour a day. He has to carry a stamped piece of paper and indicate when he was out each day. It is difficult for them to grocery shop as it is a long walk from their house which takes up much of the hour. They have no car so can only buy what they can carry. But then again, he is still alive so that is the important thing.
I have not seen bonuses on the few shops that are around until it is almost the last day and then they are small. . At least I feel the msc should be offering a bonus for someone to go and risk their and other people's health.
