Does anyone expect HS Brands to pay up (and on time?)

I don't think it's fair for anyone to assume that HSB is having financial trouble. They are a large, stable MSC with a specific business model. They take months to pay shoppers, but we know this going in.

This pandemic has affected everyone. Maybe HSB's clients are affected and this has a snowball effect on paying shoppers. Maybe the proprietary pay system can only be accessed on site. Maybe, maybe maybe. Too much room for conjecture.

We have always gotten paid by HSB. There is absolutely no reason to think otherwise now.

It's not fair for you to claim that the MSC is stable if you do not have insider knowledge and have not reviewed company financials. When a company has difficulty meeting its short-term debt obligations (in this case, shopper payments), it is fair to question whether there might be financial problems. This is not a one-time instance of HSB being late with shopper payments. They have been late with payments for well over a year. HSB is one of the larger MSCs, but it is a small business with (pre-Covid, at least) 50 employees and 12 million in annual revenue, owned and run by Tom Mills.

Actually, it is fair for me to say. I'm not the one making gross assumptions.

I was paid today for the shop I did in March.

Likewise. Surprise payment from HS Brands today with the message, "This is your payment for the shops completed through March 15th. Thank you."
I was paid today too for March! Wasn't going to start worrying until the end of the month. Also got paid by Cirrus today. Double nice surprise!

Of course there is reason to think otherwise regarding HS Brands...they are 90+ days from the date of shop!

You do realize this is a textbook example of "having financial trouble" right?

As for all the people complaining because they were running late. We're in the middle of a pandemic. Did you really expect no MSC's to not pay late? And if you did, wouldn't it make sense that the one with the slowest payment terms would be the one most likely to begin paying late?

They have nearly always delayed payment until 2-3 months after a non-NV shop is submitted. I presume that is because they can, since there are no state regulations requiring them to pay earlier. You need to either deal with it and schedule your work accordingly, or else you should petition your state legislature to change the laws. HS Brands is international, but their shops done in NV have always been paid 2 weeks after they are submitted. So there is no reason to suspect they are not on sound financial footing.
Absolutely there is: [www.mysteryshopforum.com].
