Franchise Compliance

They have an (in home shop) that they are offering. This is the second email I have recieved from them about this shop. Just wondering why no one has taken it.
When I get an email from a company that I have never done a shop for I usually wait to see how fast the shops go. That SOMETIMES gives me an idea that shoppers like the company, just my opinion. So, has anyone ever done a shop for them and if so how are their reports? Thanks

I see Franchise Compliance and hit the "Delete" button because they have been having pay issues and there is no phone number to call them that works. Perhaps that has changed, but I haven't heard anyone indicating that it is safe to go forward with them.
Charlene, I did an in home shop for Franchise Compliance about 18 months ago and got paid. It didn't cover the whole amount and I was less than pleased with the client's job, but I did get paid. Since then, many shoppers have reported severe payment problems, along with lack of communication, and I would not accept the shop again. Over $100 is a lot of money to lay out and wait for repayment, and I think a lot of shoppers are simply not willing to risk the money.
Flash, as you know I do not need any more pay issues and (NO) way to call them as I and other shoppers are still dealing with Checkup. As far as dishing out money, first Austin, this is a replacement estimate for one of my private rooms,(tinkle, tinkle)(wash body off) etc. Phone call, and ask for person they want me to ask for!
Whats up with that! 30 minutes in my home and get a long reason why I need this done, which I do not need done. Yea, a nice upgrade would be soothing, but can live without it. Thanks for info Flash and Austin
I think I forgot to click off email notifications.
I meant click on.

Charlene, I did the at home shop, paying out over $100 for the services. I had to BEG and contact the BBB before I ever got paid well over 3 months (about 4 months) afterwards. I will never do that again.
That's right, Charlene....AND you have to keep up with what's going on .... a prompt-paying company can turn into a slow-pay or no-pay company very quickly. That happened with this company and has happened with others.....
Oh I know. I enjoy reading the forum on companies you refuse to work for. I recently posted my first message on there for Checkup Marketing.

I am new on FC and I just signed up to do this shop (in home carpet cleaning) and I am already having problems with them answering my questions after they assigned it to me. It took 2 days for them to reply but still didn't answer any of my question. Is this a sign that I shouldn't continue on this particular shop. It is a pretty easy shop and I know that I will do it right. I am very professional in what I do as a MS but I am afraid that i will not get paid especially that I am having a hard time getting a reply from them and the company doesn't even have any phone number to call to.

Pls advise me on this.

Thank you
They have shown problems in answering questions after the shop and in producing timely payments. Take the lack of communication before the shop as an indicator of what is likely to occur after the shop and see other comments by hitting the blue links under the first post in this thread.
I would say cancell the shop NOW!, or you could out well over $100 out of your pocket. As you can see Carol went through a nightmare with them. I have never done a shop for them but I have crossed them off my list of companies.
This is the only company to stiff me for my fee in the 8+ yrs. I've been in this business; it was only a $5 phone shop, but money's money.

Thank you for the advise. I emailed the scheduler and deactivated myself from their site. Take care.

I love this site! Very helpful!
I had completed a Job doing the carpet cleaning job for $120.00. on 03/05/11 in colorado, and I received good ratings from the company that I did a good job. The problem that I am seeing is this: I will not get paid until 06/31. Thats just crazy. Why are they paying so late. This is the first time that I have done a job that took this long to get paid. I thinks something is up. I know that they got their money up front. So why are they not paying quicker.
I have tried to contact them twice in the last few weeks and I haven't received a response back from them yet. I am a little frustrated. I think that they are going out of business. And they are just waiting for bankrupy papers to come in, and thats why they don't want to pay anyone. If they treat their shoppers this way. What kind of service are they giving to their customers???
does anyone having the same issue, I am having? very frustrating. I will not do another job for them.

UPDATE: 07/18/11 - I finally got paid from them. I just wanted everyone to know that I did get paid but it took along long time. I was promised on 06/30 and they finally paid me on 07/18. I had emailed them 5 times about being late on the check. No on responded back to me. I just received the pay check by them.

Unfortunately payments and communication with Franchise Compliance have been an issue for more than a year. It is hard to tell what is going on over there. It is certainly one of the reasons that forums are useful--shoppers can warn other shoppers about where they are having issues.

Hi, aprilshowers, have you read the other comments on this thread? Do a search for Franchise Compliance for all dates and read what current comments have been posted on other threads about them. I did the carpet cleaning shop a couple of years ago and I was paid timely but since then they have developed issues with payment. I would not take that shop again unless I start to hear much more positive things about their payment. Several shoppers have reported here that not only were they paid several months late but they also had to take a very aggressive collection stance.
FC has recently emailed a shop that's a new client for them. Used to be iMyst's. It was a good shop, and the fee is good with FC, as well. I'm not biting - yet, but will be watching.
I completed a mystery shop for Franchise Compliance between 2/16/11 and 2/20/11. The assignment was to rate a local Carpet Cleaning Co. and pay $125 out of pocket for the shop. Their site shows that a payment was sent on 5/31/2011, however today is 6/26/11 and I still have not received it! I have left seven messages to the scheduler through the company's website and have not received one response back. STAY AWAY from FC

That is just what happened to me, so I won't do it again. You are not supposed to mention the name of the client in the same note, so it should be referred to as a carpet cleaning company. you should change this.

Franchise Compliance said they would pay me on 06/30. I have paypal, and this should be automatic. If they don't pay me by then (Its been 3 months) I am going to report them to the BBB. I would also suggest to contact the Carpet company and talk to who ever hired that company and advised them that they have a very bad company doing their work for them. I am very MAD at this (FC)company. AND the sad thing it that they are still out there asking people to apply for the shop. How sad

They are still hiring people to do their CARPET CLEANING JOB, YET, they are not paying them.... How sad!

Please call the carpet company! You might be surprised how much more quickly you may get your money. DONT STOP FIGHTING! They hired FC so they should be responsible for what you paid out of your pocket if they truly care about their reputation. aprilshowers and surveysjenn, get together and start brainstorming with each other. Been there done that with Checkup Marketing! I feel your pain.
OMG. I have been reading everyone's post on Franchise Compliance, and I am having a lot of trouble getting paid. Based on everyone's feedback, I won't be signing up for anymore jobs from them ever again. This is the first time I have ever had any problems in trying to get paid. Luckily, I did not have any out of pocket expenses. The shop I did was for Bath Fitter where the sales rep came to my house. Franchise said it would only be a 30 minute home visit, but it ended up taking 90 minutes of listening to the sales rep make his presentation. I will keep everyone posted if I ever get paid.
Please go introduce your self in the Member Introductions and you will get alot more feed back on that company. Also you are not allowed to mention the client's name. Please edit your post without BF name. You will have other places to do this. Just by my past mistakes. But you will be O.K. Lots of people can help you out here.
When I got an e-mail recently to do a carpet shop for them, I said I would do it when everyone was paid who had already done a shop, and if I didn't have to go through the BBB to get my money. Funny, I have heard nothing else from them.
This is the ONLY MSC to stiff me; fortunately, it was only a small $5 fee for a phone shop.
Thankfully, Bob you then never dealt with a now defunct MSP who owes me $134 and a lot of other people a lot of other money.

Carol
I finally got my check today for a shop done 3/7/11. It was for the whole amount too. Maybe things are looking up for them
