That recording is optional. Answer no to "Are you willing..." and file the report. Nothing will happen and I have been scored 10/10 without it.
Intellishop had a few clients that required a video for a while. However, they were upfront about it. There must have been some negative blowback, because after a few months the videos became optional.
It is against my religion to have my voice or image recorded electronically. I am a devout member of the Temple of No-Charity-Work-For-MSCs. As the Survey Q reads, and as others have pointed out, providing a recording is optional.

Is Ipsos just trying to bully us?

If you realize that, at its core, IPSOS is a $2B data collection and survey company- you won’t feel bullied. They are simply doing what they do.

Just hit “No” and move on. It really IS that simple.

I, also, encountered this request last year; I declined. After only being asked on a few occasions, I do not recall seeing it again. In my opinion, it was an attempt to garner more for the same fee, which would have become less over time.

Almost 16 years ago, on a Quizno's shop, I encountered my first request for a pic; it was optional and I was paid an extra $5. Today, such is often required and with little to no extra pay. It is certainly possible that if shoppers were to accept the practice of extra video/audio inserts, they would become mandatory and the fees would not increase.
You're not willing. End of story. I don't see how their request can be seen as bullying.

I've been bullied and this feels nothing like it.
ColoKate63, that's exactly what I did. But I do find it kind of demeaning that they are trying to get something for nothing from us, mystery shoppers.

Bob, I agree. I realized the recording was optional and I did not do it. I have also seen other shops where there was an additioal fee offered if you uploaded a video or audio recording. In this instance, this was not the case.
The only Ipsos shop I've seen with a recording was a cell phone store shop where you had the option of recording or writing a narrative. I chose to write and didn't think any more about it.
