Change to Ipsos website portal

It looks like Ipsos changed the look of their portal this morning. It looks like I'm no longer able to filter by a specific client.

Ugh!!! They've changed to the new Metrics layout! But on a positive note, you CAN sort and filter by specific client....Click on "Job Board List" and then over on the right, there is a small rectangular tab that says "sort and filter". Click on that, and then you can click on the "filters" and "job title" and perhaps some others to find the individual clients. It took some searching and playing with it for me to find this out. Hope that helps!
Thanks for letting me know. When I opened up the website my coffee hadn't kicked in yet.

And another problem...I did a produce shop yesterday which requires a 2nd photo 48 hours later (tomorrow). I got an email today saying the shop was overdue and in danger of being removed. Anyone else?

Nikki,

I've done a lot of these shops, just respond that you're waiting for the second picture. The scheduler I'm dealing with for these shops and the editors/other schedulers are very receptive to e-mails, text messages or calls.
I just submitted a shop with their new layout, and this shop usually provides a confirmation number, but with this new system, there was NO confirmation number for me to write down!
If anyone else sees one, please tell me where it is after you click "submit"....the whole job just goes away, with no confirmation number! Ugh!!

On a positive note, I did 90% of this shop on the app, and it was much better, in that each question no longer has it's own page, but the questions go down the screen one by one on the app, so that was nice. But I miss that confirmation number!!
I don't like change..takes me awhile to adjust to the new format. Same with Market Force, but they always seem to change things for the worse.

I keep changing it to desktop mode so I can at least see more than one job at a time when searching. Scrolling all that nonsense would take forever. Why do they keep making sites more difficult to use??? Grrrrrrrr
The new Ipsos Shopmetrics job board totally bites! Why do they want to make it harder for people to find jobs? The old layout was so visually straightforward in a spreadsheet format. I could do a sort on many things including distance, pay, location, etc. Now it is a big pain in the A**!!
All the millennials have decided they have to redo websites to protect their jobs as coders.

My stance is if it works, don't 'fix" it. But I'm not the powers that be.

I haven't seen any improvements in the functionality of the website other than to piss us off.

But you need to change things to justify hiring someone that will make your website more "user friendly".

You can by clicking on sort & filter, select job title from the pull down, and then type in the client name. One or more box will appear (depending on the # of different type of projects they have w/ that client), click on the boxes you want and the sort will appear for you.

Agree! Agree! Agree!!
And to me, it's definitely NOT more user friendly!!!
Who thinks these things up anyhow????
Do you do change to desktop mode on a mobile device? If so, can you tell me how? Thx.

They do these things because the world is going mobile and desktops are going extinct, at least for most regular people. The untapped shopper pool is on mobile, and companies don't want to maintain two different site designs for different platforms. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, just saying what it is. The websites have to go full throttle mobile or they will get eaten up by apps.
I just tried to complete a gas station using the new app. It was kind of slow and bulky, especially when attaching files. It's still easier to just use the website on my mobile browser. That's what I've been doing, and I complete them on site as I go. I think the app was actually a little slower than just doing it on the website.

Is there a new app too? Did MobiAudit change too?
Has anyone else been having trouble with the dino stations on the app since they started up again? On both the old and new Ipsos apps, plus on MobiAudit, it is constantly going to a black screen so I have to exit out and go back in again. It is making the shops take much longer to enter. I have tried updating and restarting my phone, and reinstalling the app but it is still happening. Just wondering if it's just me or if others are having this issue
Yes there is a new app available with the update to shop metrics. I think Mobiaudit and the website are still better than the new app. I just prefer using the website on my phone even over mobiaidit

Anyone having an issue with the new portal where every time it loads it says your profile is at 0% and you have to update it before you can access your shops, board, etc? And then when you go to your profile actually everything is fine.
Mine says 64%, but everything is there. I don't see anything that I can update or add.

The map search feature is better on the new site, but the rest of it is not as easy as it was before.
MobiAudit has changed, too. The header is on the first page then the whole rest of the report is on one, jumbled, continuous page that you scroll down. You can go to settings and try to put it one question per page but, no. It doesn't work like it used to. Now the done button is where the next button used to be to proceed to the next page. I have hit done with one report four times which makes it shut down and go back to the list of shops. Another grrrrrr.
Another good thing is that we can now adjust the search filter to see more than one specific type of job at a time. And they have gotten rid of the pages and pages of certifications.
Otherwise it looks pretty clunky.
Have you noticed that the scroll bar has disappeared. You can only see the jobs that first appear on the screen. I can't find a way to move past the first section of jobs. This is on mobile and pc.
Well the scroll bar has appeared, but trying to get a page to open is ridiculous. Why redesign a site and make it less user friendly and it's a time waster. If Shopmetrics can't work correctly, then perhaps move the program to Sassie.
The only thing I like about the new site is being able to select more than one type of shop from the scroll bar.

I'm sure they are working on getting the bugs out. Right now, it is taking an extremely long time for the app to open, load shops, and sync. The old version was flawless until recently, even in very remote, rural areas.
I dislike the filtering by miles only. I would prefer to filter by state - which in some cases is more than a 150 mile radius from wherever I might be at the time. But if one selects 150+, one gets the whole country.

I also dislike the very slow time it takes for the app to sync and have largely stopped reporting from the field because of that. Collect the data and report from the desk top at and of day works for me.

Frankly, I think that Shopmetrics ought fire all those responsible for the redesign for willfully harming the company's product and reputation. But, management probably loves the pretty new bucket-of-bolts.
