It depends which shop one takes. For some shops, $15.45 won't even cover 10% of the expenses.

$15.45 now. At last this will cover almost all the payment.
LOL not for the majority of outlets on Long Island, though it generally brings it close (and if you go "off-burger" it might. I was responding based on the burger price).
Unfortunately, the client also increased their prices. I was able to get a grilled cheese with the new reimbursement.

Ridiculous what they charge for a small fry and fountain drink. $4.09 for fries and $3.09 for a regular fountain drink in my area. I do like how they prepare their fries and they do give you a ton of them. But what does it matter when you can't eat them all and not something I would bring home to eat the next day. My last visit the total was $14.77 until tax was added; $16.12.
Each store is different, one store close to me charged more than $17 for a little burger, fries and a fountain drink back in 2020. That store closed sometime last year. A different store that I go to regularly has never exceeded the reimbursement price for the same meal. In fact, the last time I was there the prices were still very close to the $12.70 reimbursement. And their business is thriving, the store is always busy, right up until closing time. They aren't short of employees either, so I'm guessing that having reasonable prices brings in enough business to pay a full crew and not have to cut store hours.. amazing concept.

We could have a discussion all day about $12.70 being a reasonable price for a burger, fries and a drink.

I can get a little burger, regular fries and a drink for under the new reimbursement. I would never spend that much for a burger since I believe I can get a sit down meal for a few dollars more and probably do it on a shop.

Yep, increased to $15.45 -- just in time for one of my local stores to increase the little burger, little fries, and regular drink to $15.65.

I can't quibble too much about the 20 cents considering the decent fee I got. But I just don't see how this chain can expect to stay in business for the long-term as people find themselves with less discretionary income due to gas and grocery prices going through the roof.

Ruby Tuesday or Red Robin give you unlimited sides. They say fries on the menu, but you can ask and they will substitute salads at least in my experience. I was too lazy to google which restaurant it was.

Also a free meal for your birthday and on Veterans day if you qualify for joining their frequent flyer club.

Last few times I've been, my location has been almost empty. The food is good but it's just too expensive. Hope my location stays open.

I don't know how they can sustain those prices. At what point will people say enough is enough and go to a competitor?

I did not see the MSC listed in what I had quoted. It just listed a couple of other restaurants, but not if they were shopped or not.
