IPSOS paychecks ?

For the month of July 2022, IPSOS was short on one of my paychecks by $80. I have written to them but there has been no response. Has anyone else had this type of experience? I sent an email to: mspayments@ipsos.com

i tried calling the IPSOS phone number at 973-658-1667 which is on the PAYPAL receipt for payment but it was disconnected. Little scary they don't respond to any type of communication.

Thanks, Tim

Thanks, yes the shops were "received," that's the way IPSOS says they have been completed but there is no way to see if they have been paid....it is sort of guess work as i look at it. i keep accurate records and I am sure they did not pay me for a few shops in July, but have no way to contact them because they don't write back.
Actually checking your pay on either platform on Ipsos is really simple.

If you're talking about the shopmetrics platform if you click on the 3 bars on the top corner you can click on my pay, and it will show you your completed shops and status. And below there are the list list of pay statements that list each job you've been paid for and how much you were paid for them.

If you are talking about the sassie platform. Finding what you were paid for and what you haven't been paid for is nearly as simple. There there is a thing that you can click on where it says active, finished and something else and in a drop down menu near the top. You can click on finished, and go, you won't need to change the dates, it will list all of the shops that you have finished and whether they've been edited or graded and what their pay status is on each individual shop.

I tried that in SASSIE for IPSOS, and there isn't a drop down to show all projects completed and paid for. Yes, there is a shop log where I can currently see my future projects that I have been assigned but not the ones i have completed. There is no where on the SASSIE site where I can go back several months and see the jobs I have completed and how much I was paid for on each one. i am not sure what to do.
Actually, on your home page, just set the filter to "all" and a date range, and it will show all your jobs for the time period you indicated. Then you can use the drop down on each job (far right of the page, and up arrow/down arrow), and it shows the details shop by shop.

Good luck.

In Sassie on your Shopper Log, click on “show filters” on the right hand side. That will open up the drop down menus. Select either “finished,” to show only ones you’ve already submitted, or “any” to include upcoming or unsubmitted shops.
Btw you can select “finished,” and then under date type select “paid on” to see everything that was paid on a certain date or in a date range, which can be a handy feature.
I would advise also writing the main Ipsos email address which is mystery.shopping@ipsos.com. If the missing shop(s) are all for one project I’d include that in the subject line (missing pay for two X Client Shops, e.g.)
You should have received an email when the shops were approved, so in body of email you should say that (Sassie shops are supposed to be on Tuesday for everything paid through the previous Friday).
Wow, your help was so good. I can find all the information I needed. BIG thanks boss.....just great that you came to my rescue. HAHA...nice. I have been a shopper for over 5 years and have completed 1,000's of projects but didn't do that much on the SASSIE or SHOPMETRICS side. Before the pandemic i was completing 100's of SPRINT shops for IPSOS and could use my cell phone for the reports. Those were easy and fun. I think IPSOS is basically overwhelmed and understaffed because I never hear back from them on any emails. Thanks again, Tim

They posted a new toll free number recently on their Facebook page. Its never actually answered live, but you can leave a message and they generally will call you in back within a couple days. I got a payment issue cleared up this way. Good luck!

Would anyone mind telling me what the pay schedule is for Ipsos? I did a shop for them at end of July and another today - just wondering what their cycle is and when to expect my payments. Thanks!
Ipsos takes Wimpy's position on payments.. They will gladly pay you Tuesday for whatever you did for them last week, or the week before that..
The payment has nothing to do with when you did the shop, but when it was approved (that’s true for all MSC’s). In the Sassie platform, you get paid on Tuesday for shops that were approved through the previous Friday.
I believe that Shopmetrics is the same, but it’s been a long time. I do know it often takes longer to get approval in Shopmetrics.
They do have occasional and upsetting and annoying delays, but hopefully those will remain occasional after two delays in a short time earlier this year.

Well, of course. That goes without saying. ???

I've been mystery shopping for many years, and don't know why you assumed I am a newbie and needed to be schooled on that. I was only asking a general question about their pay cycle because I've never worked for Ipsos before and I could not find that particular info.

Thank you for replying so quickly with this info! I appreciate it.
Why are you so defensive? I wasn’t “schooling” you. Someone above said it’s two weeks from when you completed the shop. I said it’s not based on that, it’s based on when it is approved and if approved by Friday, it will be paid on the following Tuesday.

This has happened to me twice in the last three years. They do NOT respond, and you are best advised to pursue this via your scheduler, letting the scheduler know that IPSOS is not responding.
It's not defensive to calmly state that your reply puzzled me a bit. To me, it came off as something you'd say to a total newbie. Of course, no one's going to be paid until after a shop is approved; of course, that applies to all MSCs. It wasn't necessary to point that out and I was just letting you know I'm not new at this. No big deal.

My Sassie shop for Ipsos was approved the day after I submitted my report. Now I am just wondering how long Ipsos will take to review/edit the shop I did through Shopmetrics, which happens to be the one I'm a bit nervous about.
Over the last few months, my shopmetrics have taken anywhere from 5 to 14 days to get approved.
Per the IC agreement IPSOS guarantees payment within 3weeks of the shop date.

But ... due to the pace reports move thru editing, payments are generally made sooner. Ipsos makes weekly payments on Tues for shops approved by the previous Fri.

Those who state 1-2 weeks from shop date are indeed accurate; it is the typical "cycle" time they and most shoppers experience in getting paid. It is not always 100% tho.

It gets a little confusing in this forum because some posters talk to the approval to pay date while others are looking at the average cycle time from completion to pay.
