The shops from december that were supposed to be paid in january? Not yet and i have emailed them...

I also saw that I have not been paid for a shop I did in November. I sent an email to the contact desk. I have 2 shops coming up and hope that it will not be a problem. I have a shop that I did at the end of December, but do not expect to be paid until the others are paid.
Its not the best way to do business.

Not sure of their contact email... I just sent them the message through the completed shop where it says "send message" or something.

I did a shop for them in mid November and should have been paid mid January and have yet to be paid. I have emailed them twice and no one is responding to my email.

Thanks to all posters. I signed-up with this company in 2005, under a prior name, but I never completed any work. Just last week, they offered an attractive dinner, but as I neither tolerate late payments nor non-communication, I have decided to pass on the job.

I am approaching 90 days on a couple of jobs with this MSC. Very unusual as normally payments come in like clockwork at the 45-60 day mark.

I received payment for November after sending the email.
I went into past shops and sent a request for them to check on my November payment.

It’s not an email. I went to completed shops and opened the shop. There was a place to send a message and I did. I received payment within 3 days

Wow. I'm just seeing this and I may rethink the shop that I signed up that's paying a nice dollar. I don't want to have to chase a company down for payment.

I have not been paid for mid-December shops. I am going ahead with my March shop on the assumption that like last time I'll get paid before the 90-day mark, but I realize that would not be an acceptable resolution for other shoppers.

When the pay for ICs is habitually late, I am only aware of 2 reasons: A desire to use another's money as an interest free loan or cash flow problems. 1 is bad and the other is not good.

Options 3....the client is just really slow. It happens. We get paid. I would hope no one is doing these with the intention that they will pay the rent with what you get back.

Bob comments--Being slow is not an option; it is an aftermath. The price paid for being tardy is a loss of some shoppers. They have a posting I literally drive by monthly; I would have applied had I not read this thread. If any shopper is comfortable with an MSC that regularly, according to this thread, violates the conditions of an agreement, so be it. It is that old adage again, "One shopper's meat, can easily be another's poison." If I were going to take a gamble, it would not be on a leisure job with only a reimbursement.

My September 2025 shop was paid in Nov. I'm waiting for my January shop to be paid - hopefully before the end of March.
