Hi Summit smiling smiley Are these going to the SASSIE or the Shopmetrics site?
Are there two sites for Summit? I only have one.
Jen Gladding also claimed NJ, so maybe each state gets 2 schedulers? Or two parts of one state? Or just confusion? Time will tell.

She will be in charge of north jersey and I will be scheduling south jersey. We are splitting central jersey (if you believe in that third region..I live in middlesex county so I do!)

Thank you!

We had to divide them up by district, so it's not exactly by state. It's less than ideal but what we had to work with. So for example, one person has the "Tennessee district" but Bristol is off in the "Appalachian District" by itself.

She's only the AL scheduler for this one project though, not for the dozen or so others she has.

We have been pretty deliberate about not putting the client and the project both in this thread, but someone has linked directly to the client (and not to the correct site).

That's good. I have worked with Kim in the past. I was looking up another "kim" last night on my cell phone. Kim @ summit's number is in my phone? Weird. I have no clue what I did for her or why we needed to talk?
Today's update, due to some delays on the end client's part, the new projected project start date is the week of Oct 12th.

Thanks for the update.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
Has anyone said they are scheduling for Wisconsin yet? I haven't seen us Cheeseheads mentioned. LOL
I left it up to the individual schedulers if/when they post, I'm sure some of them are busy with end of the month issues and don't want the extra email just yet since the start date has been pushed back.

Which NY scheduler is handling the four boroughs of New York City? (I.E. Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn)

Also, has there been any verified information about which "scenarios" have survived, and which haven't?

Also, did the new company get the approved shippers assignments as well, or were those another contract?

#burntoutinthebigapple
I have Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens. I am unable to answer the other questions right now.

Thank you!

This is all of the information I have about the scenarios at this point: I know that we have the whole project. I know that the shops for the coming quarter are NOT the ones where we will send boxes to shoppers ahead of time. And I know that for the scenario this quarter, the form is supposed to be reduced by 20% in length but the shopper pay should not be impacted. Not very concrete details but that's all I have right now.

Actually, this includes a significant piece of new information. Apparently, the "new" MSC will be reverting to the practice of sending boxes to shoppers in advance (I am thinking this refers to Scenario C) rather than having us buy boxes and then fill them with food for the food banks the way the "current" MSC has required. I was not doing these with the old MSC (meaning prior to the current MSC) which I understand also shipped boxes in advance, so I don't know if that practice will make it harder or easier for me.

Just to clarify, this isn't a "new" MSC, it is the same company that has had the contract all along, they just subcontracted it before and now are not. There were always dimensional weight shops where the boxes were sent ahead of time, but they are a small percentage of the shops and none will be done this quarter.

We are all trying our best to avoid mentioning names. I know and I hope most others understand, that the "new" MSC is the contract holder, and that the "current" MSC was a sub-contractor. Maybe the "old" MSC was also a sub-contractor. I had no idea that any shops run by the "current" MSC included boxes sent in advance. No one on this forum has ever mentioned that happening.

Before the current MSC, who has been doing the shops for a while, the previous one had sent out large boxes to be remailed. It was rather a pain to have to go to the post office to pick up the oversize deliveries and seemed pretty obvious when subsequently you were hauling the same big box back to the PO. It was not so bad if you were returning the box to a PO other than the one where you received it.
