Chipotle Shops

I was told by a scheduler that they are looking for shoppers in rural areas and are pretty full in most metro areas. Especially since they scaled back on the number of shops needed per location.

I am located in Arkansas.. I received a e-mail saying that a job was posted on a MS message board on December 22.. I email the scheduler on the 23rd asking about it.

We have one Chipotle where I live. I received a e-mail about training in my area last year and I was going to attend but they had to cancel due to bad weather sad smiley I believe when I received it last year it was from a different scheduler. In fact I kept in contact with her.

I understand that some schedulers may be taking last minute vacations

Just I just have to wait and see

Thanks for replying and Happy New Year smiling smiley
Chipotle is great food, easy shop, and the form is brief and to the point. I love it as part of my stores. No complaints here!

They never really get in contact with us in any substantive way. There's no way to ask them question back, so when they send a note and you're not sure what they mean there's no way to clear it up. The schedulers aren't always of much help clearing things up either as no one really knows what the other is doing. They also keep changing things in terms of who handles what as I am not on my 3rd scheduler in the last 4 months since they canned the good one.

WOW. What a shame that there has been so much turnover in your area. I have had the same scheduler, Michelle, who is wonderful, for several years. She performs shops for the same clients herself and she is very available. I'm not one to communicate a lot with schedulers or editors - I just want to get my assignments, to do them, report, and get paid - but I don't think MIchelle ever sleeps. She must be on call 24/7. I was accidentally shorted on payment once, e-mailed Michelle; she contacted Accounts Payable for me, and I was paid within hours. I've not had a problem with editors, but if I did, I would immediately e-mail Michelle. She seems to be on top of everything. Reading your comments about schedulers who don't know what the other is doing and getting canned and replaced, I appreciate Michelle all the more. She's a gem!

Guess you got lucky. I have not had any particularly good interactions with her. At best they're "professional", but no more, and at worst she's been less that helpful, to be mild. I had Judy for a long time before they canned her for unknown reasons. Things haven't been much fun since then.

One Chipotle where you live? There are at least three in my small suburb.

Yes only 1. We have 5 million Mcdonalds ad 3 million Burger kings. We dont have that many Bks or Mcdonalds but we have a few of them. smiling smiley

I love Chipotle. It has been a while since I have been
Tomorrow is the first of the month! It's a holiday, so I wonder if the shops will be posted.

I think it is an automated system set up to send on the first of the month. I always get the email (one email per assignment) on the first of the month even if it falls on a weekend. HonnyBrown, Chipotle is lucky to have an eager shopper such as yourself. Cheers.

I just received a email from the scheduler and they said that the training will be in January and that they will put me down as interested and they will let me jnow when it is set smiling smiley so I am getting a little excited winking smiley
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got three shops for January. Normally I only get one or two. I think the competition is thinning out. I have the reports down to about 1/2 hour and always just get a "thanks" comment from the editor. Perhaps my competitors never got the new report format down to an acceptable time. Or they will be back next month!
I am not a big fan of the KQ for the month. I debated on whether to decline mine but decided to go ahead.
JAS, what's wrong with the KQ? Which KQs were your favorites?

I got my assignment first thing this morning. I'm going to do it tomorrow.

We can't talk about them openly on the forum. The MSC doesn't like it and is probably worried that an employee or manager will see it.
Honny, it's probably going to be very busy tomorrow since all of the kids are still out of school. It's kind of a hassle to do these shops when they are super busy. I am going to wait until the middle of the week to do mine.
I got nothing, as they very unceremoniously canceled my account without even telling me. I'd call them a nest of vipers, but that would be a grave insult to useful snakes.
JAS, thanks for letting me know about the KQs!

Today is the only day I have open. Since it's my first time doing the report, I don't want any other commitments or distractions. I know it's going to be a madhouse.

Can we order guacamole with our chips?

Yes! I highly recommend the guacamole. Also the corn salsa. You can also ask for sour cream on the side (no charge for sour cream on the side)..
Oh, thank you rofl! Someone else mentioned creating nachos with the chips and bowl ingredients. Top that with guacamole and sour cream for some YUM!

I always dip my bowl ingredients with the chips. Sometimes I get pinto beans in my bowl but lately I have been doing the fajita veggies. My favorite bowl is: chicken, brown rice, fajita vegetables, tomato salsa, sour cream, and cheese. I used to get lettuce but the flavor changed when they started washing it with that sterilizing solution. It's got a slight chemical taste now in my opinion, but so does the lettuce at other restaurants (if you taste restaurant lettuce elsewhere before adding dressing you will know what I mean).

Isaiah, I always get EXTRA sour cream and cheese in my bowl. Honny, if you get guacamole on the side, you are not going to be able to finish your bowl.
I always get a bowl with three flour small tortillas on the side (no extra charge). I then can make my own soft tacos. I crumble the chips into the tacos for some texture. After the three tacos there is always some of the bowl left to take home.
That's a good idea, kenasch. Often when I am not too hungry I get the crunchy tacos to eat. If they let you have flour tortillas on the side, I wonder if they will let me have crunchy tacos on the side? I would love to be able to make my own tacos, because sometimes they don't drain the salsa properly and my third taco is soggy by the time I eat it and the bottom falls out.

I keep thinking I should try the crispy tacos with the salsas on the side. The few times I have tried tacos, I wound up with a very soupy bottom of the container that ruined the last taco. BTW, my spouse orders two (free) soft corn tortillas to go with his salad. He makes his own tacos with the tortillas.

You may want to join the Facebook page via your scheduler. You can get questions such as this one answered in privacy. Hope you have fun at your shop todayl.

As many other restaurants have stopped being shopped via receipt survey with the enticement of a free meal sounds like they are testing those waters.
I'm working on the report now. The red "Required" items, are those mandatory narratives even if the answer is "Yes?"

Yes - when you try to file it with a "required" space blank, it will flag it as needing a response.

Yes. It won't allow you to submit without giving a comment (not really a narrative as it only needs to be on e or two lines).
