Today is a gas station and convenience store.

A whole bunch of parking shops, some valet, some automated, some "plain vanilla." Gotta make hay before the high humidity days descend on us on Monday.

Finishing the week out with a hoagie shop, finished this morning on my way back from getting groceries. Going to slow down for awhile...making a life transition and my energy is headed elsewhere.
It's Saturday. No placesmiling smiley

I did a pizza shop because I felt like pizza and it's nice to get it for free plus be paid to eat it. smiling smiley

You are working for that pizza, trust me.

I have been doing this shop for over 10 years, used to be you had to flip the pizza over, now you don't. I basically got a 12 dollar pay plus a large pizza for less then 20 minutes of report time and a 10 minute round trip drive. I am comfortable with that amount of compensation. Thank you though, and have a great Father's Day for anyone who is a Father or Mother doing double duty!!!

Today was a HoneyGrow takeout. I got a crab stir fry and it was put in a Chinese takeout box. They did the stir fry, and placed all the crab at the top of the box. Not a good move.

A really nice resort in CA. I think I’m going to drop $3k in 48 hours.
I’m taking a day or two off after this.
Tuesday is a sports bar.

I had my sports bar shop today and it went perfectly! Food until Thursday, and I'm out of town on Friday.

I will be shopping very close to home, if at all, over the next few weeks. I had to drop my car off for a repair appointment. Turns out, the appointment was for the estimate. The work could take however long they wish.

I don't have auto rental because the $25 a month that I would pay for it is more than renting the car out of pocket. I choose not to rent a car because everything except for church is walking distance.

Have same clothing shop from last week..different location though...I hope that my cover doesn't get blown though...it's a purchase and return shop and they are requiring you buy at least one full price item..problem is that they are currently full swing into a semi annual sale....grrrrr that is going to look very odd...I have to return the item 2 hours later..again making it look very odd....I might see a movie to help make the 2 hours go by faster....

Next one is an athletic shop but mainly focused on shoes..with a small purchase to prove you were there ..this one didn't really appeal to me but it's in the same mall where I'll already be so figured why not...

Last one is a hardware shop that showed up last min last night on the Intellishop job board that is normally never shopped on a weeked..only small purchase requirement..

Sunday-I hadn't planned on shopping other than a 5 min phone shop but decided to do the qsr one..just looks extremely easy and same company posted a fed ex inqury shop...that also seems very easy

Tuesday..I might do the comic book shop that Intellishop posts..

I went into DC to do two shops that were not in the areas closed off for either the marathon race or the demonstration (50,000 folks expected by the Park Service.) Silly me !!! The first garage is accessible only from a block that was cordoned off by police so that SIX concrete trucks that were lined up, and more arriving, could deliver to a building site on that block. Fortunately no one at the MSC will blow a gasket about the fact that I could not complete that today. Another reason to love schedulers and managers who are not at all about "blame."

The other shop went off without a hitch.

Aarggh having the worst luck with shops lately...did 3 shops today...first one I was ignored for 20 minutes..one of the associates passed me by 3 times and didn't say a word..could not find the rep I was looking for to complete the shop...

2nd one..I was greeted..but the associates didn't bother to find out what I needed...Tried on shoes which was a requirement..but associate's didn't bother to see if I liked them etc..only kudos I can give which wasn't a requirement is the cashier asked for my I.D when I attempted to pay with a credit card for my item..which of course I couldn't find..

3rd one..they did better than the 1st two...but pretty sure they know I'm a mystery shopper..entire store is having the semi annual sale and per my instructions I have to pay full price..only thing I could find that wasn't on sale or on clearance was a 55 dollar shirt...they didn't hesitate at all on that...happy this one is a return shop but how does the client think this is a good time to demand paying full price..they have to know they are in a semi annual sale right?

So what exactly was the bad luck? If associates don't do their jobs it really is their problem. I only worry about whether I do my job correctly.

Five Guys with delivery! too hot to cook or spend too much time outside running around.

In the mood for key lime pie for some reason.
@LisaSTL..that's a good point...I just despise having to give a negative report is all even if it comes with the territory...

I am taking somewhat of a break from shopping this month. I'm only doing my sports bars. Between grad school and work, I got burned out last month.

Burnout sucks. That's one reason I alternate merch routes with my MSing.

Speaking of, I'm on an extended merch & audit route through OK, TX, LA, AR, & MO. Hope to be home by dinner tomorrow night.
