Where Are You Shopping Today?
I did a Core Life Eatery for lunch and then picked up a Dewey's pizza and salad to-go (reimbursed $40) for our dinner. I love working for food.
Nowhere today. I'm meeting a friend at the sports bar I shop every month. We're using my rewards for a truly free meal.
My WaWa shop on Monday went sideways. I made a rookie mistake and did not look at my receipt when she gave it to me. When I got home, I realized she gave me the "PAID" receipt for the sandwich, not the register receipt. Luckily, I paid with Samsung Pay. That shows the store, location and amount. I called the store and asked them to send me the receipt. She sent the transaction log instead. Surprisingly, it was accepted.

Nothing today , just had lunch at Freddy's with four ladies from Sunday School . It was very nice
BJs Brewhouse tonight, Brixx Pizza was last night. Both reimbursement only but easy reports that I could do in my sleep. My full time job has been brutal the last 12 months so shopping has fallen way off. Last week was awesome, went to DC for a four night trip and scored dinner shops for three of the four nights, one at a chain Brazilian steakhouse. The bar requirement was a bit of a pain in the butt, but the food, especially salad bar was AMAZING. Not a place I would have gone to on my own, so really fun.
On Saturday..have one bank shop..one send and receive money shop..one mattress store added on..wasn't planned initially..one more bank shop I might do..I waited too long to see if the local one would get bonused and someone else grabbed it..so now trying to decide if I want to drive an hour and a half for 25 to 30 dollars for an extremely easy shop...I would be going to a local branch anyway..since I have a deposit to make..and might add on a fast food one..either the qsr or the one similar that intellishop does....
Sunday..should be a bit easier...

Today I started out with one report to submit. I am doing a shop at UFA. I don't enjoy it. Then getting my hair cut not as a mystery shop. Then a shop for supper at EDO. It pays reimbursement for me, plus $10. But I only have two options of what to order. My husband loves eating there so he will join me and make me jealous by ordering whatever he wants! He will spend more than the $10 too! Oh well, at least he will drink my pop for me.
I keep trying to get him to sign up and just do that one. They have to lift rotation for me to do it. But he is not interested.
I think there are a couple other shops in town, but just not sure how much I feel like working today, there are no "fun" shops available. I am going to town for the haircut anyway, so see the shops as expense free.

Sun: 1 hardware store and 2 gas stations.
All with decent bonuses, the pizza ones were just sitting on the board so I started grouping them together into mini routes as I picked up the gas station shops.

Lebron James is an investor in Blaze and joining our Lakers, so he was giving away free pizza's last week.
The towns on fire with him joining the Lakers....I was unable to go, and I bet lines were out the door...
did they still do the jobs in L.A....anyone know.

The steakhouse bar wasn't bonused yet. I reached out to the scheduler and told her that I could do the shop on Wednesday for a $3 bonus. I then erased the bonus amount to see what she would say. She came back with $5. Yes! She usually offers a $3 bonus.

Checking in to a nice Hilton location later this afternoon, a couple miles from home. Will be eating, swimming and evaluating..and yes, sleeping lol. Hilton is running a promotion right now, so this will help me earn the points I need for a big vacation stay this fall...

I eat at California Tortilla on my own dime because the rotation is 4 months. I have never had a LTO that I did not like. Did you have anything from the Wall of Flame?

I've stopped shopping at Calif Tortilla because the 2 closest to me have poor quality that does not seem to improve, MSing aside....and the reimbursement does not cover the expenses of the required order (as I recall). There is one farther from me that has good quality. Glad to know that this month's special is good, though...might have to check them out.
I go to Mimi's on my own dime with my friend, we get a buy one get one and split the one order. I can't find out who does them (not asking), but I think it's the company I don't belong too.....oh well. win some lose some.....

I did three wireless shops, hardware store, fast food, and a gas station... all with bonuses/distance pay. Pretty good day.

I live in a place where local food is a political issue. I always thank my stars when that question is among the options. That's the ONE question they don't treat me like an idiot for asking in produce.

My sandwhich shop yesterday was great. I had my choice of what foods I could get, but would only be reimbursed $4. They have one small sandwich that, with tax, is under $4. I got the medium sized sandwhich for $4.24.

Today my fav....Stone Fire Grill, only 4 restaurants within 30 miles, big reimbursement and fee and amazing fresh food and service. Feel lucky when I get it, but go on my own anyway. Weather humid and over 100%, and guess what, my A/C went down, did an emergency call yesterday, it's working to the tune of mucho $.

So much for a day doing chores at home! Got an offer for an $80 bank shop that can be followed in a couple of days by a $45 credit card shop. Both easy and convenient locations. I might just treat myself to lunch while I am out. Heat index well above 100 again today but cool front due this afternoon along with rain. No rain since July 1 except for sprinkles last night.
