Where Are You Shopping Today?

Rancid is a term used for oils and fats.

bgriff, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience. I actually like them better than Chipotle, and I loved Chipotle (when they were shopped). The menus are creative, the food is fresh, and they offer Burrito Bucks (rewards).

I hope you give them another try; at least a different location.

They were horrible. I wrote a 750 word email to them about it. The sweet tea was completely unsweet and going bad. So I asked the girl if they had anymore. She told me to ask one of the managers after they came back. Uh? Huh? So I said screw it and went to get unsweet tea thinking perhaps it would at least be fresh. I didn't even have to taste it. From the smell alone I could tell it was rancid. And that was just a small part of the issues. Food was wrong. Got wrong size cup. The service was rude.

Tomorrow is a French bakery after work. I hope they have a bar. Saturday is a gas station/convenience store, and Sunday is a sandwich shop.

No grocery shopping this weekend!

According to Merriam-Webster here's the definition of rancid:

having an unpleasant smell or taste usually from chemical change or decomposition rancid butter rancid breath

Anyway, they offered me a whopping $10 gift card (less than my meal) and promised to give the manager a talking to. Meh. I'm not in their footprint very often.

They could have done better. $10 won't get you a combo meal. Hopefully, the manager was not transferred to the location you will visit. The location I both visit and shop has awesome employees and managers. Maybe I'm spoiled. I'm not fond of the shop with the new MSC, but I do it because I like the restaurant. At reimbursement only, that says a lot.

Today I did Vie de France. I was utterly confused by the guidelines. I had to buy an entree and a beverage at the bakery. At the time, I did not realize that there was a cafe next door, and the place that I go to regularly was the bakery. I got a chicken Caesar salad and a pizza.

Today was a gas station/convenience store. I was pretty amazed. There was a kiosk to have your food made fresh, including salads. There was a strawberry lemonade Icee flavor. The bathroom was spotless.

How boring Eric. I'm shopping on Gallifrey. It's a targeted new Tardis shopwinking smiley

Started off with a high-end breakfast buffet, just completed an apartment, heading to another apartment appointment at 1 pm to end, 4 pm brow wax assignment then back at the same hotel for a dinner buffet followed by the late night bar and appetizer finale. All within walking distance from my hotel. I am not doing anything again until the end of the month after today when the bonuses are great.
I'm excited for my BJ's Brewhouse shop on Wednesday.

Brief digression here....

Irene, I wish I could get my husband interested in using a smart phone. He's 76 and uses a flip phone, and is happy with that. He's not the least bit interested in knowing how to text or use a computer or a smart phone....yet he depends on me to send emails or texts for him now and then! He doesn't mind getting the benefits of computer/smart phone technology....like when our satellite goes out and I can switch the TV to a channel on the Roku so he can continue watching what is usually some sport event....he likes that, but has no clue on how it works. or even how to use the remote to get to the Roku!!! Kind of sad, I think.

I think it's great that this technology is here, and I like having some modicum of understanding as to how it works....good for you on getting a new phone so you can use skype......you can get to video chat with your daughter if she has skype!
