Shopper8 — I gave feedback. And I asked how to do the shop without marking down the teller for a normal transaction. And no reply. Maybe they didn’t grasp that if they didn’t respond I wouldn’t be doing any more of their shops.
The money is too low and the questions don’t make sense but they are also putting the shoppers in a position where any normal teller is going to get a bad report. No one asks a lot of questions during a simple teller transaction. As a bank customer, I wouldn’t want to go in to deposit a check and then be asked several questions as if I had a problem to be resolved.
On of of these shops I did in July I had a very good teller — not just standard pleasant, but someone who was friendly and outgoing and made the day nicer. Someone who made it feel likea hometown bank run by smart people — in other words, the kind of person the bank needs as an employee. But under the new form she didn’t ask the questions so I was supposed to grade her down. I did my best to tap dance, but the report makes that difficult. Which also makes it take longer to write. And now they want me to do all that for $12?
