Five Guys listens to us. They raised their reimbursement.

I think I've found my new go to order at 5 guys. Bacon cheese dog. Got on e today with mustard, onions, grilled jalapeno and pickles. Excellent. And $11.95 for the dog, little fry, and regular pop. And no, the workers don/t bark when ordering, they just call back one "Cujo". My only worry is I may get outed, as the dog is not a regular order. I might have to mix it up a bit, but this hot dog was great!

When they call from Pakistan, I try to get them to match the highest fee. I believe the highest I've gotten for a bonus was $17 for one location and $20 for another. Sometimes there is no problem and sometimes they even tell me what the fee was the last time. Other times, they start at $6. I tell them they are wasting my time to move them along or they will repeat themselves for as long as I let them.
I just got a call from someone who would not budge on the fee. He wanted me to do a late night shop for $6.
I did one yesterday. Got a little burger, little fries and regular size fountain drink. $10.94. A little expensive.
Wow, they raised the reimbursement 25 cents on most of the locations in my area. Still almost 50 cents short of the overall price increases. They are at least being more aggressive in raising the fee as the deadlines near.

They are pretty good with that. I just had my bonus increased based on the menu prices.

Shake is more but not that much more and if you do a shop where you have to get a shake you get additional funds to cover it but it doesn't cover the cost either!

They add $5 when a shake is required. They reimburse the shake independent of the other items. The $5 covers the cost in my area.

Do some locations have a veggie burger that someone mentioned a page or so ago? I will have to check out their current menu. I did them a few times and had the Veggie sandwich but just like Subway all it is is a bunch of lettuce and a very thin slice of cheese...A tiny salad on a bun is not tasty nor is it appealing to me so I eat at places that actually have a Veggie burger with some substance and taste to them. I do not want a beef hamburger. My main reason to go to 5G is the peanuts. I can live on those and the longer they take to prepare my order the more peanuts I can eat. Of course all that salt does nothing for my blood pressure.
A little hamburger (no cheese), a little fry and a little drink are $13.26 with tax. I wish they still would increase the reimbursement- our meal tax is 12.5% and even $12.75 is still too low. Nonetheless, they are great shops to do when you can get a bonus.
Is it Pakistan? I thought it used to be the Philippines? area code 925 and now they are using a new area code 916 or something like that....

I don't get calls from 925 anymore, now it's 906. They don't leave a msg though.
I get hounded with at least 2-3 voicemails to do shops for FG daily. I did also see the Michigan number pop up recently. Didn't pick up the first few times as it wasn't a number I recognized, but now I will add it to my contact list. I used to have FG offshore callers in my phone as "Martinez" since that's where they called from. A friend asked me who Martinez was winking smiley
Just did one. Paid 15.21 and reimbursment is 12.50 + 8.00 for the shop. This is my second and last one unless it is raised.

It is not a "burger" rather a meatless sandwich; mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc. They used to offer a black bean burger in my area but stopped a few years ago.
Also, I'd recommend their grilled cheese sandwich. It's excellent with lettuce, tomatoes and grilled onions. Bae likes it with mushrooms.
I think that is what i got the last time i was there. And anything beats the poor excuse for a required order grilled cheese I had at the Shake Shack last time I was there ...It seemed to me it was meant for a very young child. It was so thin and small one bite and it was gone.

Dreaded soy? Please explain what’s wrong with soy.

Soy has phytoestrogens in them. As with beer, a pretty lousy thing for a guy to have. I haven’t put my masters to use in a while, but part of me wonders if the effect of that in women would be akin to what happens to a guy doing steroids after some time.[/qote]

Maybe this is the reason they have rotation requirements on shops...Not so they don't remember you but to protect your lady and man bits from a soy overload.
