BTW, next month's delivery shop has a shake.
They may have raised the reimbursement for the delivery shops (meal) but they haven't raised the reimbursement for the shake itself. Near me the shakes are all over 6$ to start, even before tax so there's still some out of pocket. But still cheaper than paying out of pocket for the whole shake!
For delivery shops, you can order from third party services and use coupons. Uber Eats regularly sends me 50-60% coupons off a minimum $20 order. With the shake shop you can easily hit that, and maybe with a regular shop if you get a regular burger and large fries. I think that the in-person shop still only reimburses $5.50 max for a shake. Also, when using Uber Eats you can choose to pay an extra $2.99 to be the only order delivered, as opposed to the drive making another stop along the way (or out of the way as happened to me last week). The service fee reimbursement is high enough to cover that.
When I did my delivery shop near my daughter last week, I was able to get a little cheeseburger, large fries and bottled drink for almost exactly $20 with tax. I did not use UE because I had an offer for FG on my credit card (which oddly did not get triggered by the purchase).
